With the rumors of Doc, and CP3 not liking Griffen and Him and Howard are trying to figure out how to play together I figured why not put the rumors together for one mega trade.
Boston sends out Doc and KG.
Boston gets Jordan,Bledsoe plus picks.
Lakers send out Howard in a S&T
Lakers get Griffen and Butler
Clippers send out Jordan,Bledsoe,Butler and picks
Clippers get Doc,KG, and Howard.
Of course there might need to be some filler to make things work. And yeah its unrealistic, but it does work out for every one in some shape and form
Why Lakers would do it? Howard is pretty much gone. They get a young buck in Griffen that Nash and Kobe just have to throw it with in 8 feet of the rim if they are in trouble and will go get it. They can move Pau to Center and have Butler as a serviceable SF.
Why Clippers would do it? Gets Griffen out of CP3's hair, swaps All Star so they don't loose that. Get vet presents with KG and could go back down to PF and gets Doc. They compete this year and keep a good core after KG is done.
Why Boston? Well we all know a rebuild is closer and maybe closer than people really want. No we don't become as good as either LA's next season, but do build a nice core to see were things are going. The C's get a true back up PG and could start while Rondo gets healthy. They can see what kind of player Green is with out the KG and possible PP crutch. People complain about Jordans lack of offensive skills, but if they can find a good out side shooting SG, I think Rondo,Green,Sully and player X takes on the scoring load. Jordan is there for rebounds and shot blocking and put backs. Yes over payed for that, but would you rather draft an other project Center or have Jordan?
Rondo/Bledsoe/AB/Terry
Lee/Crawford/Williams or player X
Green/PP or Player X
Sully/Bass/White
Jordan/Randoph/Melo
Still have plenty of players to bring in an other service big with guard trades. Try to bring in a more solid SG if Lee hasn't gotten it together. If PP gets traded in that NO rumor then they can look for a back up SF in stead.
And if you want to go even crazier, Boston/LA/LA/Sac trade that sends Jordan to SAC and Cousins to Boston and take on Salmons contract...
This is why I should take LOOONG vacations were I get stuck in Hotels during my daughters nap time. LOL
If today's rumor mill is close to true. I could definitely see your scenario playing out. I also like your idea in involving Sacramento as well. So if we're going to get nuts...let's get nuts.
Anyway, this would be my take on it (without the Lakers involvement).
Boston sends: KG, Doc Rivers, Jared Sullinger, Fab Melo, 2014 1st round pick
Boston receives: Demarcus Cousins, Tyreke Evans
Clippers send: Eric Bledsoe, Deandre Jordan, 2014 & 2015 1st round picks
Clippers receive: Kevin Garnett, Doc Rivers
Sacramento sends: Demarcus Cousins, Tyreke Evans
Sacramento receives: Deandre Jordan, Eric Bledsoe, Jared Sullinger, Fab Melo, Celtics 2014 1st round pick, Clippers 2014 & 2016 1st round picks
And since I've gone this far, I would then revisit the previously discussed (during trading deadline) deal involving the C's, Dallas and Atlanta in which the Celtics would trade Pierce (and maybe Avery Bradley) and end up with Josh Smith.
That would leave the Celtics with the following roster.
PG: Rondo, Evans, Terry
SG: Evans, Lee, Crawford
SF: Green, Salmons
PF: Smith, Bass
C: Cousins, Randolph
The C's could fill out the rest of their roster with their 1st rounder this year on best player available (maybe a big like Dieng for size or Schroeder for depth at the 1). They would also have the mid level exception to add a decent player or at least the mini mid level exception.
