Simmons on WEEI, what do you think?, Did you give credibility?

He also claims that Doc and KG do not want to stay more in Boston, my opinion is that relations are not the same between Doc,KG and Ainge are no longer the same as before, with the Pierce situation, new reconstruction, making roster ...

Simmons says the Clippers could try to get Pierce before February.

 To see what happens... ???

Try to get Pierce before February ?

Ainge is waiving him before the end of this month or trading him.

True, it is what my wonder, this means that Pierce would stay in the team until February? I do not know, a little strange all.

I find it also very rare that Doc has not acted in his decision and furure, something must be happening that concerns him.

It's pretty clear that Doc's relationship with Danny has changed in the past month or so.

I think Danny has wanted to blow it up since post-lockout, but Doc (and the vets, probably) swayed him to keep it together.  Once he went out and spent all that cash on Bass, Lee, Terry, Green, KG, etc., and realized that this team can't compete, I think he got mad at Doc.  I'm not saying Danny wants Doc to leave, but I think he's upset that Doc's badgering has set back the rebuild (or at least made it more difficult).

I think Doc, on the other hand, understands that Danny is putting his foot down this summer and blowing it up.  Doc doesn't want to coach another rebuild, so he's holding out on whether or not he's coming back until Danny officially makes his decision.

Disagree with this. If we are moving guys like Bass, Terry or Lee in the KG deal like one mentioned earlier we have no reason to shed his salary.

There is no way they cut him, all the sources I respect have waived it off as being ridiculous.

That's the only way KG waives his no trade clause, if Pierce is no longer part of the team.

Well then they trade Pierce in the same deal or a separate  deal.

I think KG might go to a Doc coached team.

Agreed. Everybody acts like KG is absolutely tied to the hip of Pierce, I disagree. KG has undying loyalty to Doc and I don't think it would take a ton of coaxing from Rivers to have KG follow him.

I don't. KG has stated numerous times that he will retire as a Celtic. The only Doc coached team he'll go to is the Celtics.

So package PP and Lee and Bass  and Doc for somekind of Clipper package.

Green can play SF, KG Center

I doubt they would do this :

Wait, KG doesn't want to be part of Boston anymore?

I just can't see that given how loyal he is and his repeated statements that he wants to retire a Celtic.

Yeah, apparently he's willing to waive his no-trade clause for Doc.

The nerve!

If they're going to waive Pierce and Doc was to go back to broadcasting I think he'd retire. I think if Pierce and Doc stayed and Boston rolled it back he'd play another year in green. It doesn't sound like Danny wants to do that (rightfully so)

If the option to play another year with Doc/Pierce is in the works I can see how he'd be for that option too.

KG has said that the reason he didn't retire last year AND came back to Boston was because Doc was still here.

KG goes where Doc goes.

Perhaps people are seeing the true value of Doc now, beyond X's, O's, and Banners.
