Wow, apparently I am in the minority where I just don't see what the big deal is with Rondo and Jeff Green.

Almost as if they are the next Jordan/Pippen, the way some talk about them.

And now there's comparisons of Rondo/Green to CP3 and Blake??? Really? ???

I don't think that the duo of Rondo/Green is on par with the duo of CP3/Griffin.  Blake Griffin is already a considerably more valuable player than Jeff Green, and, presumably, he's going to keep getting better.

Rondo and Paul, on the other hand, are fairly comparable players.

i'm not even sure why we're comparing jeff green and blake. apples to oranges

If KG, Doc, Pierce all left for the Clippers, I'd be mad too.

Clippers are in better position due to their bench. What is our equivalent in scoring for Crawford and Barnes?
Anybody? That's what I thought...
Come on guys swallow your pride and accept that this deal is good for PP and KG and also allow Celtics to rebuild faster.
If instead KG and PP decide to retire now, will you be in a better shape?
If Danny don't want Jordan to play, at least is a good trading chip.

Edit: forgot to mention Rondo and Sully won't be ready and 100% for the start or else Danny would have tried a shot with this roster with minimal adjustment. If he decides to give it a go, there are reasons being it...

Agree that's why they seek Doc. Look at clippers throughout the season, they were better at the beginning, obviously VDN lost some grip along the way. Sounds logical to me.

If Jeff Green wanted to be the man, I'd cry tears of joy.

Griffin may be more valuable from a spectator standpoint...But after seeing the player Green is becoming on both ends of the court as the season went on...There won't be that much of a difference between them.
