In this interview MWP made a lot of sense  ???  :o ??? (I can't believe I just typed that)

Quote
Mentally, the Spurs are strongest right now,"..."I think LeBron and (Chris) Bosh, they want it to be given to them. I don't think they're taking it upon themselves like a (Michael) Jordan would have done."

Quote
"Chalmers, he wants it," World Peace said. "He gets it. He's not as talented as LeBron, but he has more heart. That's those Derek Fisher type of players. Players that have more heart that are not as talented and play hard."

Quote
I'm a fan of LeBron, so I always want to see him do well and sometimes I'm like, 'Step it up! Start playing.' "

Quote
"If Miami has any flaws, the Spurs will win," World Peace said. "They will not let Miami off the hook."

Yeah, I read this yesterday... why does he have to be a LeBron fan. >:(

Who else is seeing the ulterior motive in elbowing James Harden...

If he was an amnesty player would you guys think about picking him up. I know he is hated here, I even hate him. But just wondering.

So, as a fan, sometimes to see LeBron not take over, I'm kind of like, 'Come on, let's do it.' His pops went to jail with my older brother. My brother spent 10 years in jail, they were locked up together. I'm a fan of LeBron, so I always want to see him do well and sometimes I'm like, 'Step it up! Start playing.'

Is this... did this really happen?

fastest way to get Bron motivated is to publicly say he's scared or dogging it.  I expect we'll see him very motivated to take over game 4

No idea, but I do know that what I've been shown of Artest's twitter feed has been hilarious. The guy is chock full of a unique personality, too bad he's a Laker.
At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.

You guys should watch "the association : the lakers" available on YouTube. You will know more about him and why he is like that. I always hated the guy even in Houston but after watching him on the documentary, I empathise a little and now I'm neutral about him.

  • We may as well put Tyrion in at center.

That's one of the most intelligent things I've ever heard MWP say.

Last time I remember Artest saying something unbelievably crazy, it turned out to be true, so I'd believe him.

Like when he said growing up the games were so tough and competitive, someone got so mad that they broke off a table leg and stabbed a player with it, and that player died right on the court.  Come on now, you'd think that's crazy, no way that ever happened.  But it did!

After 18 months with their Bigs, the Littles were: 46% less likely to use illegal drugs, 27% less likely to use alcohol, 52% less likely to skip school, 37% less likely to skip a class

Sad thing is the heat generally are given so many calls that maybe they are used to it.  Watching the Indy series I saw MANY one sided calls, probably enough to give them the series.  Poor Lebron must be used to getting all the calls and special treatment.  HOW can he be expected to perform, Bosh has already stated he is a hall of famer so the title should be given to them

I do think that's getting in Lebron's head some. He's use to lowering his shoulders and barreling into the paint and either making the basket or getting the call. Right now he's getting neither (which I assume will change).

I do have to say that,so far, this has been one of the better officiated series in awhile. There have been a few 50/50 calls that could go either way,but for the most part, there hasn't been any blatant in your face missed calls. They're also not rewarding the floppers so you're not seeing a lot of flailing like the Ind series.
