1.   Cleveland | Nerlens Noel | 6-11 | 206 | PF/C | Kentucky | 19

It's a tough call, but at the combine Noel measured 6'11" with shoes and 6'10" without shoes. Savvy General Managers are keeping the with & without fade top measurements a mystery.

2.   Orlando | Ben McLemore | 6-5 | 190 | SG | Kansas | 20

His passive play earned McLemore the nickname "Gentle Ben." You won't think he's so gentle when he's shoving your kid out of Disney World lines.

3.   Washington | Trey Burke | 6-1 | 190 | PG | Michigan | 20

With Trey Burke, the cost may be just too high if you think your local broadcast team will use his name as a pun for 3 pointers. No one really knows if Wizard games are televised, making "Trey Trey" a perfect fit here.

4.   Charlotte | Anthony Bennett | 6-7 | 240 | SF/PF | UNLV | 20

Bennett is part of the "Canadian Invasion" and will probably be the pick here. But, if he's so good at sports, why didn't he just play hockey?

5.   Phoenix | Otto Porter | 6-9 | 200 | SF | Georgetown | 20

Another draft with no twins means that it's anybody's guess who Phoenix selects. The Suns could try to package this pick for Brook Lopez. And if that doesn't work, Porter is willing to tape green screen footage of his evil twin persona that he's working on "Otis Porter," so far he wears a goatee and never stretches.

6.   New Orleans | Victor Oladipo | 6-4 | 213 | SG/SF | Indiana | 21

The Pelicans have to take Oladipo at this point in the draft, if only to get Jay Bilas to shut up about his wingspan. It's long, we get it.

7.   Sacramento | Alex Len | 7-1 | 255 | C | Maryland | 19

Alex Len has boasted that ten years from now, he will be the best player in this draft. Len continued on with his predictions into the future stating that he'd definitely be driving a hover-car and married to at least eight swimsuit models.

8.   Detroit | Shabazz Muhammad | 6-6 | 225 | SF | UCLA | 20

Shabazz Muhammad is tackling the issue of his age scandal head on with the newer revelation that he is half Korean, where they count ages one year ahead. As the old adage goes, it just takes one GM not to find your fake Korean accent horribly offensive.

9.   Minnesota | Cody Zeller | 7-0 | 230 | PF/C | Indiana | 20

Some scouts compare Cody Zeller to Chris Bosh, mainly the crying in locker rooms part.

10.   Portland | Michael Carter-Williams | 6-6 | 185 | PG | Syracuse | 21

If Michael Carter-Williams can improve his jump shot, he has a chance to be a good player. If he becomes the greatest shooter of all time, wow, that would be a very good player. Frankly, I didn't think he had that kind of potential.

11.   Philadelphia | CJ McCollum | 6-3 | 197 | PG/SG | Lehigh | 21

His dedication to emulating Stephen Curry's game from hurting his foot, to calling his brother "Seth" has cemented McCollum's status in the lottery and completely weirded out his family in the process.

12.   Oklahoma Cty | Steven Adams | 7-0 | 255 | C | Pittsburgh | 19

Through his interpreter, Steven Adams did very well in interviews with NBA General Managers. The fact that English is the official language of New Zealand, did not come up once.

13.   Dallas | Dennis Schroeder | 6-2 | 168 | PG | Germany | 19

Dennis Schroeder sat out the drills portion of the NBA combine with a toothache. Rumors started swirling that he either has a promise or is trying to force his way to the city with the best techno clubs.

14.   Utah | Shane Larkin | 5-11 | 171 | PG | Miami | 20

When his little league coach criticized Larkin's swing, he never played baseball again. The Jazz can safely pick Larkin here knowing that NBA courts are judgment free zones.

15.   Milwaukee | Kentavious Caldwell-Pope | 6-6 | 205 | SG | Georgia | 20

For a shooting guard, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope has great court vision. He's not going to pass you the ball, but he SEES you.

16.   Boston | Kelly Olynyk | 7-0 | 234 | C | Gonzaga | 22

Kelly Olynyk is a legit 7 footer that has the ability to stretch defenses, but usually it's the defense he's playing on.

17.   Atlanta | Rudy Gobert | 7-2 | 238 | C | France | 20

It's hard to tell if Rudy Gobert has a high ceiling or a low floor. Either way, he's tall and his house was constructed by non-union home builders.

18.   Atlanta | Gorgui Dieng | 6-11 | 230 | C | Louisville | 23

With back to back picks for the Atlanta Hawks, Gorgui Dieng makes some sense here. It just depends on how long it takes for them to realize that Rudy Gobert was a bust.

19.   Cleveland | Jamaal Franklin | 6-5 | 191 | SG/SF | San Diego St. | 21

Jamaal Franklin has been compared to DeShawn Stevenson, who was compared to Michael Jordan, who was in a commercial with Kevin Bacon, and wore a Hitler mustache. Usually teams like players to be more than 4 degrees of Kevin Bacon away from Hitler, but this is a weak draft.

20.   Chicago | Mason Plumlee | 6-11 | 238 | PF | Duke | 23

It is said that you need just one elite skill to make it in the NBA. If sucking the joy out of basketball counts, Mason Plumlee will have a long career.

21.   Utah | Sergey Karasev | 6-7 | 197 | SG/SF | Russia | 19

Kerri Russell's nuanced portrayal of an embedded KGB operative in "The Americans" may be hurting Sergy Karasev's stock with GMs. He has been coached in interviews to say that "he's more of a Felicity fan, but didn't get why she cut her hair off." "Whatever that means," said Karasev.

22.   Brooklyn | Tony Mitchell | 6-9 | 236 | SF/PF | North Texas | 21

Tony Mitchell really under-performed this year after building high expectations. The Brooklyn Nets are thrilled to get a player that fits in with what they are trying to do.

23.   Indiana | Pierre Jackson | 5-10 | 176 | PG | Baylor | 21

Pierre Jackson's heart breaking story of a basketball player dealing with the adversity of being born with average human height and normal thyroid function is an inspiration to us all.

24.   New York | Allen Crabbe | 6-6 | 197 | SG | California | 21

When scouting Allen Crabbe, you will notice he makes the game of basketball look effortless. His detractors, however, love to harp on the fact that he isn't giving any effort.

25.   LA Clippers | Reggie Bullock | 6-7 | 200 | SG/SF | North Carolina | 22

Though he didn't show it at the collegiate level, LA's scouting department believes that if Bullock follows the lead of the Clipper veterans, he can really ham it up at the NBA level.

26.   Minnesota | Jeff Withey | 7-0 | 222 | C | Kansas | 23

After making the selection, a brief panic sets in with the Minnesota Timberwolves front office upon re-reading that his name is actually Jeff W-I-T-H-E-Y not White-y. The Wolves feel silly when it turns out that he was white the whole time.

27.   Denver | Tony Snell | 6-7 | 198 | SG/SF | New Mexico | 21

Tony Snell's slight resemblance to Omar from "The Wire" has NBA vets not only worried he will snatch their minutes, but also their weed.

28.   San Antonio | Giannis Adetokoubo | 6-9 | 205 | SF | Greece | 18

The YouTube footage of Giannis Adetokoubo dunking his gyro into a bowl of tzatziki sauce should be all the evidence needed to secure a first round guaranteed contract. Although, rumor has it that his agent cut out footage of Giannis dropping his Baklava on the ground.

29.   Oklahoma Cty | Glen Rice Jr. | 6-6 | 211 | SG | USA | 22

No other player in this draft can boast that they won a D-League Championship ring. As an aside, Rice says he's "sick and tired" of everyone mocking him simply because they are jealous.

30.   Phoenix | Tim Hardaway Jr | 6-6 | 200 | SG | Michigan | 21

The scouting report on Tim Hardaway Jr. says that he doesn't need to have the ball in his hands. This is reassuring since he'll be spending all of his time on the bench.

Best first post I've ever read here.

Edit: And the Bennett quip, is that a Norm MacDonald homage?

Thanks! I've been lurking here for ages.  I didn't even think of the Norm McDonald connection when I wrote it, but knew right away what you were talking about, so I guess, yes, it's an homage now.

Good work.

I don't hate Olynyk, but i do have some concerns about his qualities and i do have some excitements also.

1st , i think his permiter game would compliment the under the basket play of Sullinger. Also both are good passers and could cause some nightmares for whoever two that have to cover both.  I like that also unlike sullinger, he can run up and down the court without much fuss and score breakaways layups as well as utilize the pnr and attack the basket.

He could be a good defender, up to Sully of last year (very underrated , good and rarely got burnt).

The bad is , we would be minus some serious quickness , athleticism and shot blocking capabilities if these are the two guys that are going to be leading us in the long term. Sullinger can handle many centres in the league defensively but Olynyk then will get killed some nights by some very very talented and quick pf's.  Also if other teams decide to go small ball against us, again having these two could be a issue on the defensive end.

I'm still big on Withey, bc he can swarm most pf's in the nba and block their shots unless they are excellent at shooting jumpers. Dieng would be also a decent pickup, bc he has advanced lateral quickness/length and decent all around game.

Definitely some good material here.  I liked the Rudy Gobert one a lot.

I dont mind Olynik kinda reminds me a little bit of splitter. Not a great defender, decent offensive game. could be a good big coming off our bench next year. I just think if your gonna go for Whithey you have already given up on Melo. Bigs with no offensive game can be found in the NBA already. offensive bigs that have a semi decent post game and good 15 footer are rarer to find
