So the #1, #2, and #3 have all been rumored as being available.  What an odd draft.
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Starters - Luka, JB, Lebron, Wemby, Shaq
Rotation - D. Daniels, Mitchell, G. Wallace, Melo, Noah
Deep Bench - Korver, Turner

It's understandable. It's a weak draft and teams may want to see if they can cash in for an established player or even for an extra pick in next year's deep draft.

Maybe Ainge can take advantage of it and land a lottery pick though. If the top 3 picks are all on the block, it must lower the bargaining power of each of those 3 teams.

Make sense to me. If I had one of the top 3 picks this year I would be shopping each of them as well.

Very odd (and interesting) draft this is shaping up to be.  Especially with celtic fans not knowing which direction our franchise will be heading in and who knows if Dallas, Houston, or Atlanta will be looking to make any kind of surprising deals to free up cap space to land a big FA.
2020 CelticsStrong All-2000s Draft -- Utah Jazz

Finals Starters:  Jason Kidd - Reggie Miller - PJ Tucker - Al Horford - Shaq
Bench:  Rajon Rondo - Trae Young - Marcus Smart - Jaylen Brown -  Peja Stojakovic - Jamal Mashburn - Carlos Boozer - Tristan Thompson - Mehmet Okur

I would love if we could trade up and get Ben McLemore.   HE would fix a lot of our offensive problems instantly because he can shoot and that would spread our offense.  I know we need bigs but we need guys who can score as well.  I would love to have Victor Oladipo's defense too.  Otto Porter is intriguing to me as well.  But this is a weak draft.

if we trade that far up, I hope we take Noel. He could be the big man we need to build for the future.

I'm guessing if they are looking to trade the pick, the Cavs are taking Noel.

Not a big Noel guy.  I mean, what is he, Hassan Whiteside with a better motor?

206lb, coming off knee surgery, and (according to Brian Windhorst, I think) he's planning on gaining weight!  Not a good sign for a big man who just tore his ACL.

What if we were trading a PG who just tore his ACL.  Would it even out the risk?

Rondo is worth far more than any pick in this draft.  not even close

I would not be surprised at any 1st rounder being moved this year.  with teams looking to clear salary obligations and no franchise or sure-things in this draft, any GM could be looking to trade their first rounder for a lower one and another asset or trade it for a high second rounder and another asset to eliminate the mandatory contract for a 1st rounder

all these teams, especially cleveland and washington need veterans rather than new young talents, because they already have many talented players that must be developed (Irving, Wall, Beal, Waiters, etc)
