Yeah pretty much, his 2 fouls was not even on LeBron.

Kawhi is gonna be a great player and the future of the Spurs.

It seems like elite SF's are on the rise.

LeBron
Durant
Rudy Gay
Paul George
Jeff Green
Kawhi Leonard

I think the Heat made a concerted effort to get Wade and Bosh involved early in this series, so LeBron deferred for most of the night.  There's some logic to that strategy, but it probably lost them the game tonight.

Leonard took the lion's share of the responsibility on defense.  He's a very good defender - similar length and athleticism to Paul George, but he makes fewer mental mistakes from what I saw tonight.

Rudy Gay is not elite. I heard it was mainly Kawhi but Duncan played a huge role in why Bron didn't post up Kawhi we all forget how good Duncan is at defense.

  • We may as well put Tyrion in at center.

I thought that it were the Spurs' collaborated efforts that contained Lebron.
I like Marcus Smart

The Spurs are just a fundamentally good team and it's sad that they're labeled "boring" because you don't see all the high flying lobs.

That has nothing to do with what he asked but I agree

Rudy Gay is pretty darn good though my friend.

But yeah, I watched the whole game. Kawhi did a great job, everybody in the Spurs did a great job at keeping him away from the basket.

  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
It was Kawhi Leonard. He was excellent but don't forget to give credit to the rest of the Spurs defense. They also did a lot to control him. The rotations are excellent.

Kawhi Leonard.

I don't believe he'll ever be a star, but he's an elite 3 and D role player who is a fantastic rebounder for his size.

Kind of like a less athletic Shawn Marion who can shoot corner 3s at a really high percentage.

Except tonight. If he starts hitting those again its just another Spurs threat

I wasn't commenting on what he asked, just speaking about the Spurs in general since it was really a team effort keeping Lebron at bay.

I'm under the impression Leonard is more athletic.
