George Karl fired by Nuggets

It's funny to see that the Nuggets fans who hate Karl complain that he loves smallball too much, has bad rotations, is too reluctant to play rookies, and has a tendency to overplay his favorites and put other players in his doghouse.

It'd be hilarious if anyone who criticizes Doc Rivers for the same things wants to see Karl replace Doc.

Good point, I didn't know all that about Karl. In that case I don't want him at Boston.

If that does happen, how will the Grizzlies respond?
Karl likes to play an uptempo style (It could be seen by the Nuggets offense) and forcing Gasol, Randolph and others to play that style could potentially mess up everything else.

On the other hand, Hollins would likely slow down the Nuggets offense, creating all sorts of problems for them with a half-court offense.

I'm shocked ,  I don't read Nuggets blogs , but I would thought the fan would have liked him more.

He seems like a players coach and good all around guy .

I think the result will be a worse record , I don't know "WHO" they can get that will do a better job off hand

I can see Vinnie getting axed even with the record , not that I agree he should, but just don't see the point in firing KARL.

A guy who plays all our rookies and wins some games will probably shrink come playoff time.

Doc played Sullinger. So indeed if a rookie is good enough, Doc will play him.

I wish Doc would manipulate talent as well as Pop does. But you don't know what they know. Eddy Curry was putting up very decent numbers during his short stint with the Spurs and he got waived.

According to reports, he wanted an extension and the team didn't want to give it.  Management was supposedly displeased that he started Koufos over Javale McGee, played Andre Miller over Evan Fournier, and went with too much smallball in the playoffs against Golden State, costing what they felt was a series the Nuggets should have won.

Can't understand the Doc doesn't play rookies complaint.  He played rookie Delonte 13 mpg; played rookie Tony 16 mpg; played Perk young; played rookie Rondo 23 mpg; played 21 yo Avery 21 mpg; played rookie 'Baby' 13 mpg; Rookie Powe played 11 mpg; Rookie Semih - 14 mpg; Rookie Harangody 13 mpg; rookie Stiemer - 14 mpg. 
True, he didn't play much JR, Gabe Pruitt, Lester, JJJ, or E'twaun -- was he wrong?
