Tim Duncan utterly hates KG.
Does he hate him more than he loves (possible) back to back trips to the finals?
While as the C's I would never pull the trigger on this one, and would rather see KG retire than be traded, those are two big men whose games would compliment each others games PERFECTLY. Even at their advanced ages, they would make some serious noise in the playoffs, given proper health.
I mean, yeah, kinda...
If they were forced to play together, then I suppose it could work, but that isn't the case. Duncan says no to the deal, which means Spurs say no to the deal.
I'm sure if you ask Duncan who he'd rather play with, he'd pick Splitter and Green.
Players need to draw a line - they're people first. I love KG and all of his intensity, but if the "Mother's Day" rumors are true, I don't see Duncan opting to play with KG over another decent alternative.
