Just for the heck of it....

In case both the Bulls and Celts decided to pull off a blockbuster, what about
the Bulls dealing Rose, Boozer and Deng for Rondo, KG and Pierce?

If I had to make any logic out of this, it's that KG and Paul would want to play with Thibodeu  because of their days together in Boston and maybe the Bulls are sour on Rose because he didn't play a second of basketball last year.

I think the big obstacle is the Bulls replacing one ACL injured guard for another, but just thought I'd bring this up for fun.

not happening.

If anything, I could see Garnett going to Chicago for something like Boozer+Charlotte pick
*CB Miami Heat*
Kyle Lowry, Dwayne Wade, 13th pick in even numbered rounds, 18th pick in odd numbered rounds.

Chicago wouldn't give up Rose without getting Durant or LeBron back.

If Chicago did do this trade, they would be taking a major step back and be entering a large rebuilding process as KG and Pierce near the end of their careers. Hurtful.

The Cats' pick is quite protected:

Chicago Bulls: Receives 2013 first-round pick (top-12 protected in 2013, top-10 in 2014, top-8 in 2015, unprotected in 2016) from the Charlotte Bobcats via the Tyrus Thomas trade on 2/18/10.

Therefore, how is that a scam?  This could give the Bulls a legit shot at a title or two IF Rose comes back near 90%.

Perhaps you mean this is a scam vs. the C's??

  • Derrick Rose is year-to-year
As a bulls fan all I can say is I would want nothing to do with this trade...
