If I am not mistaken, Love and Aldridge are both up for free agency in 2 years (or can opt out.)

Would Portland or Minny be willing to just say goodbye to their star players and at least get something in return?

I know it's a business but at the same time I think my former high school basketball team has a brighter future than both of those teams.

For us, having either next to KG/Pierce would be awesome.

Perhaps if the Celts took back a bad contract (Derrick Williams/JJ Barea with Minny or Wesley Matthews with Portland.)

I don't understand the question.

If you are insinuating that each player is to blame for their respective team's failure, I would ask you to look at the rest of the rosters (take out Lillard, who is a rookie, and Rubio, who's missed a lot of time with an injury.)

Yes, we can't afford to trade those guys, especially Bradley, he's the team savior. Maybe Pop can be Doc's assistant and learn something about how to win with small ball though.

Yeah, figured. I thought MAYBE we could pry Love because I've heard he's unhappy in Minny, but Flip will probably just try to add talent to make him happy.
