Who would you rather have Millsap, Jefferson or Josh Smith(Poll)

With the news that the C's are targeting Millsap, I was just wondering which of these big men you prefer to see playing next to KG next year .

I probably go with Millsap because he is a 2 way player , and will likely come at a cheaper price than Big Al and Smith (assets and money).

Paul Millsap is the perfect PF to play alongside KG and RR. Been saying this literally for years now.

Jefferson.  Center is by far the hardest position to fill and KG is better as a PF.

Josh Smith is my favourite. His contract is going to be very large though. Millsap would be better value for money and would be my second choice. Better offense than Josh Smith but not as much of a difference maker defensively.

Al Jefferson would be a distant third.

Al Jefferson. He can score and rebound and actually be a go-to guy for us.

What turns me off from Milsap is not his game, it's his likely price tag. If he came for 3 years/$24mill I'd be happy but I have zero interest in paying this guy $10-12mill for probably 4 years.

I have to go Big Al. Josh Smith. Paul Millsap. The low post scoring we could get from Al would be much needed. Josh Smith could give us 16-17ppg 10RPG and 4APG. Paul could give more then bass but not much more.

This team needs Jefferson's game. Well, his game offensively. Defensively, he's average at best but the hope is KG can help him there.

I'm thinking jefferson.
I know people rip on his defense but I think when you come to Boston with Docs philosophy and KG his D would dramatically improve.

I can't think of many guys who's d didn't improve.

Plus we need offense not defense anyway.  We need some balance and I'd think Jefferson would compliment just about everyone on this team offensively.

The idea of Al Jefferson's hands catching lobs and passes from Rondo gives me wood.  A low post, rebounding big?  What's better than that again?

Recall how nice it was to have Shaq (usually on the weak side block, correctly, in the half court) catching passes from Rondo?  AlJeff would be a 25/12 allstar.

Big Al.  He has a true position, Millsap is undersized but effective for a PF, Smith is a tweener but is effective.

Personally I just like having a low post offensive option, we have been a jump shooting team for many years and have seen how the well can really run dry at times, a good low post threat can minimize some of those droughts.

Yeah and if I remember correctly wasn't our defense still pretty stellar with Shaq? At least our overall defense.

Player wise I go:

Josh Smith
Al Jefferson
Paul Milsap

I would love to have Smith on this team as I think he is the best talent out of the three and I would love to see him play alongside Pierce, KG, and Rondo.

Based on needs Jefferson fits what we lack the most. However I just don't want Jefferson back and I don't think he has the winners mentality that this team needs. Jefferson has developed a losers attitude and mentality with the teams he has been on and I would hate to have him drag the Celtics down.

I just dont like the idea of giving Milsap a big contract for a long length of time. I think Milsap gives us a minimal upgrade over what Bass gives us. Yet another undersized Power forward for the C's. Let Sully play I bet he can put up similar numbers to Milsap.

In defense of Jefferson , who has he played with to show he can be a winner ??

His best teammate has been Millsap who is an elite role player, but not an all-star. Even with little help Jefferson led them to the playoffs last year in the West , and almost again this year .

I think he could help this team a lot, and don't buy into the "he's a loser " criticism .
