Would love to see Robinson in Boston. Always been a binky of mine since Kansas. He is raw offensively but is a terrific athlete and really just hustles and gets after it. I would give up the #16 for him easily.

Another idea, what about Courtney Lee to Memphis for the tpe and then using that in a package?

What about..

Paul Pierce/#16

For

Asik/Robinson/White

Paul Pierce can simply be bought out and save $6.5mill right off the books.

No way they trade Asik, they want to pair him with Dwight Howard. It's also part of the draw for Howard, the defense and rebounding for once would not depend all on his shoulders.

I've always seen Robinson as a rich man's Leon Powe.  Would love to see him develop here.  Don't know if there's a practical way to get him though.

That trade would be a huge steal for us. The Rockets however, are not trading Asik for cap relief.

Some fans are going to be very disappointed at what we will end up getting for Pierce when he's gone this summer. This isn't trading Carmelo in his prime. It's trading the expiring contract of a guy near retirement who has significantly regressed.

My guess is that the China 3 and either this year's or next year's first rounder would get it done. Houston cuts all three players clears the money off their cap and get a future 1st rounder.

Yea I agree the trade is a pipe dream but I disagree that they're trying to pair Asik with Howard. Awkward and uncomfortable fit. Neither can space the floor respectively and both lack any form of perimeter skills.

If Howard is signed in Houston, I'd bet a lot of money Asik is gone soon after.

I wouldn't give up next year's 1st, that draft is too loaded and we're on the verge of possibly losing Pierce and KG, and not having Rondo for half the season. It could easily be a lottery pick that lands a superstar.

This year's pick and the China 3 for sure though. I'd even throw in next year's 2nd rounder if they ask for more.

I didn't believe it either, but I read a few reports that they actually want to pair Howard with Asik. Their core would be Howard, Harden, Asik, and Parsons. This is the franchise that tried desperately to win with Sampson and Olajuwon until Sampson pooped out.
