Ugh--am I reading that right?  A 7-footer who pulled down 3.1% of his team's rebounds while he was on the floor in the NBA?

A reminder, I guess, that Shav's nonguaranteed contract could fit as filler in some trade, leaving them with, gulp, Melo on their bench at center.

In a very small sample size, he grabbed 14.4% of all available rebounds when he was on the floor.

To the extent that that is a meaningful number, it would have been 4th on the Celtics (behind Randolph, Sully, and KG).

I remember a couple years ago the Knicks were supposedly super high on Jordan...or at least the fans were. I think he played really well in Europe after being drafted or something.  No idea how good he actually is though.

Knicks fans are super high on every player that is going to be on their team . . . until he plays in real games for them.

are we ever going to stop parading in crappy big guys?

i know they don't grow on trees but we need a real actual young big guy who can play and stick around for awhile.

Sounds like a great camp invite to me. Better than Robert Swift and Sweetney. This dude ACTUALLY has size. 7'.5" in shoes, 7'5" wingspan. Good stuff.

I've heard this name floating around before, I guess we'll get a better look at him.
