Obviously you have not seen the threads over the years lambasting Brett Favre, Tim Tebow, Roger Clemens, Ben Rothlisburger and some fairly boneheaded and dumb white people.

My daughter suffers from a mental illness.  There is more of it around than one might think.  That said, however, we knew of Delonte's problem, and had a good discussion about it in the forums.  However, every bone headed action can not be blamed on mental illness, and as my daughter was quick to tell me, mental illness can not be used as an excuse for bad behavior.

TWill has a reputation for questionable behavior.  I hope this time it did not happen as originally reported.  We need a player with his skills and potential, and I hope they give him another chance.  The Celtics,  (Delonte  and Vin Baker being two exceptions I can think of), were not known to have long patience with problem or out of control players.
