Doc Rivers and Danny Ainge have both talked to Terrence Williams about what happened, and according to Williams, he will remain a key part of the Celtics organization. He is an extremely talented player, and he could become a franchise player if he learned how to use his athletic ability.

I saw this last night and was quite pleased with the self-report by Twill, assuming it is accurate.

I am rooting for the kid and after he was traded from the Nets to the Rockets and languished on the bench there, I've been hoping since then that we would get him.

I can't believe how many people had this kid tried and convicted and bounced from the Cs. No charges have even been brought yet. I doubt they will be.

I hope every thing works out. He has some great skill, good handle solid D. He just needs to get his head caught up with his body and the guy is going to be a solid guard in the league.

Send him to Summer league see what he's improved on and see how he looks by training camp. Might be a cheap improvement on Lee in the long run.

Its funny how many people think we are really going to rebuild from the draft.

We have had Danny for 9 years and you all learned absolutely nothing?

Danny does not believe in rebuilding from the draft. He knows that you need stars to win in this league.

That is why he developed a ton of decent role players and exchanged them for superstars.

Danny is not so stupid that he will ruin the team by shipping out Rondo, KG, Pierce, Green and all other good players just to take a shot at Andrew Wiggins.

Not only is he sending out talent that is 10 times better than Wiggins, but he is also taking a huge risk. What if he doesn't get the pick? What if Wiggins doesn't come to us?

Then what do you do? You already ruined our team's present and future and now you don't get the player for which you did all that.

Those are right up around Paul George numbers, and even now the guy is still only 26 years old.

He has a unique skillset (court vision and ball handling of a PG, rebounds like a SF, excellent defensive potential, capable scorer) and talent set (size, strength, quickeness, speed, leaping abillity) that is very rare in this league.

I'm not going to say that he is a franchise player, wouldn't go that far...but he could very possibly turn out to be a very good player in this league.  Think Andre Iguodala with PG skills.

I'm not going to franchise player, that streeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeetching it too far.

However, I'd love to have him based on what everybody already said, his skill sets. You give ham backup PG duties and he can do it. Ultra athletic, can attack the rim if Doc would just let him (I saw him attack the rim when he was with Houston, don't give me "he cant"), and plays very good defense and rebounds.

He's cheap too.

WIthout getting into the franchise player bit (I don't see it), I was under the impression that his fringe-NBA status had more to do with his attitude/locker room presence than his game.

Does it matter why he hasn't made it? Would he be the first player in NBA history to not make it in the league, not because of talent or skills but because of attitude or intelligence issues? Of course not. Being a pro takes a minimum of maturity and intelligence. Some people never make it because of those reasons and not because they don't have enough talent or skill.

This is definitely Williams' problem.
