I know the trade is not very likely to go down because there are a lot of IF´s but i think it would make some sense for all teams included. I also would like to add that I live in Germany and am therefore not able to watch many games. As the topic suggests i tried to pick up some of the current rumors. The sallaries work or are close to work (Sac deal depends on evans s&t contract)

#1 Pierce+Bradley -> Gordon (maybe we can get a futur 2nd?)

#2 KG+#16 -> Bledsoe+Jordan+#28 (I know KG has no trade clause but if pierce is traded and doc only maybe back, maybe he agrees to get traded to a contender)

#3 Gordan, Jordan, Bledsoe, #28, Picks (maybe something like 2014 andd 2015 2nd rounders) -> Cousins, Evans, Hayes, Salmons

http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=p56bzla
(Added Thornton for Evans in TradeMachine)

Dont know anything about Hayes and Salmons but their stats compared to their contracts look realy bad so this would be only considerable for sacramento if its a favor for sacremanto to unload their contracts. Cousins had some trouble in sacramento and evans is rfa. I still think sacramenta demands moore but the offer is not that bad. Maybe something else can be included. Ideas?

sacremento could go forward with a young backcourt of gordon/Bledsoe/thornton/fredette/thomas which is not too bad. They also have some youg bigs with potential in jordan/thompson/paterson and a lot of draft picks in the future.

For the celtics this is in my opinion a no brainer. C´s would be left with a future core of:

Rondo/Evans/Green/Sully/Cousins

and a bunch of (overpaid) roleplayers:

terry/lee/Crafword/salmons/bass/hayes/Melo

In my opinion all players except of the "new core" can be shopped aggresively to add more pieces for sacremento, dump sallary or tweak the roster. (Maybe lee for mozgov and filler?)

What do you think? 1st Post yay :D

the one problem with that is our complete lack of perimeter shooting in the starting line up. When the reserves come in then sure its all open. Also Evans works really with the ball in his hand is more of a driver than a shooter. When you have rondo controlling a lot of the ball and also driving couldnt really work. Again, green attacks the basket really really well but has a pretty good jumper to kick it out too. Sully can hit a 15 footer when he needs to which brings a body away from the basket for Cousins.

I actually really like the line up, but in all honesty I think replacing someone like Evans with maybe a name like Mayo could be be better.

Dallas Evans, Dirk and Howard wouldnt be too bad for Dallas I believe

I would really like the idea of having Eric Gordon in our team. His contract is big but if we could team him up with PP, KG, Rondo, Green and AB that would be a very good upgrade for the team. NO adds Robin Lopez and we give them Bass, Lee and Crawford. We essentially get a starter center in Lopez and they get players who could immediately contribute while we wait Gordon to comeback.

It would be nice but why should NO do it?

gorden -> lee is bad for NO
lopez-> bass is bad for NO
Crawford has no real value

How can this trade work with boston getting 18m and sending out only 12m?? this would put us far over the apron even though we cut white/randolf and so on....

In just about every trade with a really good player involved tends to have at least one team get hosed a bit. Look at the Howard trade, Orlando didn't even get the #1 pic out of it.

If Gordon doesn't want to play and his "injuries" have been the reason for it then Lee is better than Gordon. If NO is rebuilding then they most likely will go for Len, that means Lopez is in the way of development so they will want to move him as well for pennies on the dollar.

Ownership have said they will pay the tax as long as it means having a chance at a title, I think a HEALTHY Gordon and Lopez give the Cs what they've been needing to get over the hump for that chance.

Look at LA they've payed over mill in taxes this year and didn't go anywheres, so if they C's hit  15-18 and won at least the east or made a legit run, owner ship will be fine with it, because play off money would help pay that off.

NOLA is spending big money on Gordon. Right now, and maybe even next season, he remains a liability to them due to injuries.

EGordon is a high risk and a very high reward player, an albatross of a contract and, worse, a player who chooses to play elsewhere than Nola. If we acquire him, it essentially relieves Nola of big money and we need a guarantee like Robin Lopez who could immediately contribute.

Right now, all the Celts going to them are ready to play. They may lose Lopez but they still have Davis, Ryan Anderson and Smith. Plus, they could get another big from the draft and/or free agency (Dalembert? Pachulia? Koufos? Big Al?). To find a possible replacement for Gordon, they could draft Oladipo (if he falls to them), Pope, Snell or Shabazz. Bottomline is they have more financial flexibility and better chance of going forward in their rebuilding process. Plus more importantly, we keep our future HOFers.
