Keeping Len Bias alive would be my pick who knows how long it would have extended the big 3's chance of more titles.
What makes me want to puke is Michael Smith over Tim Hardaway especially when the Celts needed a young point guard with an aging DJ.
Looking back at how bad the Celts were in the 90's is no mystery. Back to back first round picks die in 87 and 88 and then some terrible drafts.

Once again with Pekovic, due to financial constraints on first round picks he wasn't going to come over if you made him a first round pick. (Though I bet he'd have been fine going in the top 10)

But yeah Kobe is the biggest get on that list.

Is there anything more obvious than having Kobe over Antoine? ANd I love 'Toine, but darn it if we have a redo, we get Kobe!

Of course, the bodyguard on Bias might have made the greatest impact.  Bias/Lewis on the wing...a match made (only in) heaven.

The 2001 draft was a train wreck, though.  Imagine if we'd have picked up Jefferson and/or Crash and had him as 6th man behind Pierce and Walker instead of Eric Williams.  That might have been a team after all.

Trades were bad then, too.  Dealing away Joe Johnson.  Imagine a Johnson/Pierce/Walker 'big 3' in 2004-5.

I doubt Kobe would want to play for us. Didn't he make it clear before the draft that he would only play if it was either the Knicks or the Lakers?

Its a shame he couldn't stay healthy. T-Mac at his best was better than Kobe, imo.
