I'd rather have Bass.

He's shown he can be a very good defender.

Boozer can score a little but he gives up way more.

Fair enough. I'll accept that Bass may be a better on-ball defender but there's one thing that Boozer does much better than Bass and that's REBOUND! Lol I'm so desperate to have an above average rebounder on this team.

Sullinger's gonna be that guy. Nice trade idea, though my feeling is that we can find a banger out there in the league witnt sending out 15 million in contracts.

Wow!  Really?  Chicago would give him away for free if they could.  Ridiculous contract, shoots uncontested fade-aways, on the bench in crunch time.  Believe me Chicago cant wait to get rid of him.  Lets hope we're not the sucker they're on the end of this deal.

Chicago would not give him away for free. He is overpaid but he is still an above-average starting PF who averaged 17/10 last season which is almost identical to his career stats.

You're ignoring salary cap and luxury tax implications, which sometimes trump on-court situations.  Boozer is an injury-prone defensive liability who some people consider to be soft.

A lot of signs point to the Bulls being the sort of team that would consider amnestying Boozer in the summer of 2014.  They would probably be happy if they could trade Boozer the way Memphis traded Rudy Gay: a salary dump that might actually make the team better.

Well if you put it that way lol

You really think they would give him away for pennies on the dollar?

They might not think he is as valuable as you think he is.  I think if they could trade Boozer for Bass straight up without having to match salary and they could avoid taking a PR hit, they would probably want to if it gets them under the luxury tax and not having to pay the repeater tax rate.

He's more than a banger.  he's a low post scorer which is something Bass isn't and also is a commodity we don't have on our current team.

Exactly. He can't carry your offense for an entire game obviously but you can go to him for stretches which is something currently only PP, KG, and Green can do.
