Piggybacking off a couple of guys who have brought up lots of variations of this trade. Mine is pretty simple..

Jason Terry/Brandon Bass for Carlos Boozer ($ works)

Why for Chicago?
I know some people may think this has no chance of happening but I obviously disagree. Chicago is about to have Gibson's extension kick in this year which will put them even further over the cap. They desperately want to move Boozer and plug Gibson in the starting line up. Being capped out for at least a couple years they have little to no resources to add players. Terry becomes their sixth man and Bass a solid back up to Gibson. We could send DJ White and TWill's non-guaranteed contracts and save Chicago a few mill.

Why for Boston?
If Garnett returns, he desperately needs help in the paint. We know this. Boozer has a large contract but we'd be paying Bass/Terry for the next 2 years anyways. Boozer/Garnett/Sullinger makes a nice front court rotation (maybe add a guy like Dalembert or draft Dieng)

For what it's worth, I floated this idea on a Bulls forum and they were all for it. They want to start Gibson and they like the idea of moving Boozer and adding a couple solid role players in Bass and Terry.
*CB Miami Heat*
Kyle Lowry, Dwayne Wade, 13th pick in even numbered rounds, 18th pick in odd numbered rounds.

I'd consider this deal. The increase to the team payroll would put us well into the apron, I think, but consolidating two bench players for a starting caliber big is the kind of move that could bolster the team's chances for the Last Dance.

Would Bulls fan's consider swapping Lee for Terry in this offer?

Sounds good to me. A KG/Boozer/Sully rotation is better than KG/Bass/Sully.

Besides, Boozer's already tried out green with those Bulls St. Patty's unis, and it looked good on him.

It also has the benefit of helping to clean up our guard rotation (as currently constructed).

I don't think I like it, but I think I could grow to.

Not likely. One of the reasons they liked it so much is it didn't extend any salary beyond when Boozer's would of expired anyway. It works for me because I actually prefer to keep Lee. I would like to give him another chance with a more defined role.

For people who are not so excited about it, here are Boozers numbers for last season:

16.2 points
9.8 rebounds
2.3 assists

Kyle Lowry, Dwayne Wade, 13th pick in even numbered rounds, 18th pick in odd numbered rounds.

TP, that'd be a great addition for our veteran team, and a great asset to trade in the future.

If you can add Jordan Crawford to Terry/Bass, and bring Teague with Boozer to Boston, I'd trade a future 2nd to make it happen.

What forum did you use for them?  I am trying to make a list of all the best forums for different teams out there to see what other teams' fans actually think.  I don't have a good one for the Bulls

Good idea that can benefit both teams.
I like the determination of Boozer, specially during the playoffs.
If Boston suffer a little during the season for the lack of rotation, it won't matter during the playoffs.
We can play big in the paint and it will make Green PP AB and Lee more open. That could work if Barbosa can be healthy for us. RR will have plenty of possibilities for assists as well as layups.
Love that trade...

Yeah I think I makes sense for both sides. Maybe they opt for youth and take Bass/Lee instead but either way.

I think I saw LooseCannon original suggest going after Boozer a few weeks ago and for some reason, I wasn't very excited. However the more I think about it, the more I think it's an awesome realistic addition.

Rondo
Bradley
Green
Boozer
Garnett

With Terry/Lee, Pierce, and Sullinger leading the bench would be solid. Would like to add a shot blocker that we could pair with Boozer and Sullinger in different line ups. Hopefully Pierce agrees to be a sixth man.

Kyle Lowry, Dwayne Wade, 13th pick in even numbered rounds, 18th pick in odd numbered rounds.

Yea it would give Danny a $16.8mill expiring contract to play with next summer

I like boozer but is he enough of a banger in the paint for what we need? I thought at this point in his career he is more of a jump shooter like KG but I haven't watched him enough. Am I wrong on this assumption?

Yea like most big men who age, he has drifted out and began taking more mid-range shots but he is still an above average rebounder so he's not allergic to the paint lol

Either way he's a clear talent upgrade in the front court

Good to know. And yes definitely would be a great addition to what we have.

I think it's a decent proposal just because we'd finally have a low post scorer and as someone else said we get to keep Lee who I still think has good potential.  The drawbacks are financially and that Boozer may be the worst defensive big man around. Terry isn't exactly a defensive wiz either so Thibs probably wouldn't like that as much.

Boozer is also definitely overpaid.  Not sure that the Bulls would do it though.  Yes they have Gibson but they like to play a little bigger and with losing Asik the year before and now Boozer they would be smaller.  Bass isn't a true big PF at all.
