Who knows what the hell this guy is thinking but this would be scary. They would obviously need to clear a lot of salary but it's looking like GS and HOU are way more attractive than LA

Here's what ESPN's Rumor says about it:

Quote
There was a report from the Los Angeles Daily News on Thursday claiming Dwight Howard will consider going to Dallas, Houston, Atlanta and Golden State if he doesn't re-sign with the Lakers. All those team could be in the mix, except the Warriors since they are way over the cap and a trade is highly unlikely.

From Marcus Thompson II of The Oakland Tribune: "New CBA rules limit the amount of money players can receive in a sign and trade. The maximum number of years allowed in a sign-and-trade is 4. The Lakers can offer Dwight the fifth year. He'd make considerably more money staying in Los Angeles. Usually, NBA players don't pass up on considerably more money. ... Since Los Angeles GM Mitch Kupchak is pretty good at what he does, he probably won't take Andris Biedrins or Richard Jefferson in return. That means Andrew Bogut or David Lee would have to be involved in the deal. If you're the Lakers, who would you want? If the Lakers took Bogut, that would probably work for the Warriors. It would cost them Harrison Barnes or Klay Thompson. But they'd be getting the best center in the NBA. Bogut only has one year left, so he wouldn't hurt the Lakers' long-term plans. But you'd have to consider this: why would (he accept) a sign-and-trade to the Warriors for the same amount of money he could get with Houston?"

Thompson II is correct. The only real option for Howard other than the Lakers is Houston based on their talent young core and no state taxes in Texas.

"You've gotta respect a 15-percent 3-point shooter. A guy
like that is always lethal." - Evan 'The God' Turner

I don't think it's posisble unless the Lakers are going to take on David Lee's horrific contract, which would be a terrific way to destroy the financial flexibility they have in a year.

God NO!

Last thing Golden State needs is a diva who will pout out when Steph and Klay takes all his touches and David Lee comes to his spots on the floor. The DUbs chemistry is becoming really really strong and tight, he's going to ruin it.

As a GS fan as well I'd rathe have Bogut. Cheaper and a very solid defender who doesnt command any attention.

Finally for once when these divas say they wanna join a club and do whatever they want, the club is going to say "NO" and reject the diva...maybe.

David Lee was unreal this year. 20-10 pretty much for a season, dude was an all star
