what if we run it back one last time and is this reasonable?:
http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=d3yh5gc

suns send Gortat and #30 pick
BOS: Lee, melo, and #16 pick

then draft maybe Ledo, buy a 2nd round pick and get siva or Muscala? or i like mbakwe(from minnesoota)

Line up:

rondo, barbosa(?) siva
bradley, terry/Ledo
pierce/green
KG/Sully/bass
Gortat/KG/Shav

that leaves one open roster spot............this is a run it back idea and get KG help idea even tho all signs point to paul pierce being outta here :(

I mean I'd love gortat on this team but I just feel like other teams could offer the suns a much better offer than us.

Yeah no way Gortat goes for that and there's no way in hell they include a draft pick. Nobody wants Melo or Lee. Plus, he would likely command ~40mill/4 years or something crazy after the season.

My favorite "run it back" trade is still a Pierce for Gasol swap and I'll push it all day long!  ;D
*CB Miami Heat*
Kyle Lowry, Dwayne Wade, 13th pick in even numbered rounds, 18th pick in odd numbered rounds.

i guess i'm wanting to explore trading bass.lee.terry.melo, for a quality center and run it back with everybody back including pierce. If healthy and a decent Center, i firmly believe we'd be 1-0 against the Heat right now

I'm sure we'd all like to trade one of them for a legit center. However, somebody needs to be on the other end of the deal.

I'm not saying just one maybe a couple or all of em! lol on a contender Bass lee and terry have good value i think as bass can now be seen as a lebron/melo "slow em downer"(not stopper good luck finding that)

maybe one of these:

TP for the effort.
Maybe we have to give more for Gortat.
I like this post as it is what DA probably is trying to do.

They might go for it if we swallow Beasley's contract.

Exactly. I think Jeff Green and Bass for Beasley and Gortat is pretty fair for both teams.

Phoenix isn't going anywhere and at least they get some decent talent in return. Maybe we can throw them a pick if we have to.

I do agree if we run it back one more time, then Gortat would be a great pick up. Also, though Beasley has been a bust so far, I still think there's some untapped talent there. Surround him with positive people like KG, Pierce and Doc, and a lot of people might be surprised.

Playing for horrible teams like Minny and Phoenix isn't exactly a dream job for a basketball player.

Gortat isn't good enough for us to swap #16 for #30.  Gortat doesn't make us a contender, so long term all you're doing is giving up on Melo really quickly and getting a worse prospect in the draft.
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.

If we're trying to run it back with legitimate bigs, should DA consider trading his 2014 first instead of this years 16? Hopefully if there were no injuries it would be around 23-26 anyway, so is it worth the risk? Deep draft but picking that low we would just hope for a rotation player regardless of the depth of the draft. Other teams would definitely value a 2014 first over this years pick.

EDIT: we also have 2 second round picks in 2014, our own & Brooklyn's.

The trade topic to get boozer for Bass/Terry is related to this topic as well. Another great trade idea.

I'd get creative trying to get gortat to the celtics but no way I'd give up green AND take Beasley what a downgrade.
Bass terry and lee or Crawford, with a sign andtrade
