It's been said that Kevin Love wants to leave Minnesota correct? If a trade proposal like this did come along, would the Wolves say no and risk him leaving for nothing?

They can be our very own Orlando Magic...except our deals would be far more fair.

We'd be mortgaging our very decent farm for this guy.

Yeah it's funny, a couple weeks ago I posted this exact trade on a TWolves board and they all pretty much asked me if I was drunk lol

But then again the same guys laughed at an OKC fan who proposed Serge Ibaka/Kevin Martin/Jeremy Lamb/PJ3/#12/#28 for Kevin Love

Some people think that he was born to be a Laker and it's only a matter of time that he gets traded for a deal that involves Pau Gasol.

I'd throw up. I'm a big Kevin Love fan, I would be very happy if he became a Celtic! He's still only 24 years old and next to Rondo, KG, and Pierce... Wow, that would be a fun team! Get on the phone Danny! Lol

Trade one: I like it at first Deng and the pick are very intriguing... But Boozer, Sully, and Bass are all similar in their games and I would hate to see three redundant pieces.

Trade two: Dont like it. Would love Gortat but not at Rondo's expense.

Trade three: Gasol gives us a pretty great starting five and a real shot at contending with the heat. Rondo, Bradley, Green, KG, Gasol with Terry, Sully, and Bass looks great on paper. Hate to give up Pierce.

Trade four: Hate it.

Trade five: Really like this one. Helps us contend next year, and also gives us a nice window to build around Rondo and Love.

How about 16th pick, Courtney Lee and Fab Melo for Marcin Gortat & 30th pick? That's my official "keep the band together" trade.

Laughable, every single one.

I'd like to think the Pierce for Pau deal isn't laughable.  That's probably my favorite semi-realistic trade idea for this offseason.
2025 Draft: Chicago Bulls

PG: Chauncey Billups/Deron Williams
SG: Kobe Bryant/Eric Gordon
SF: Jimmy Butler/Danny Granger/Danilo Gallinari
PF: Al Horford/Zion Williamson
C: Yao Ming/Pau Gasol/Tyson Chandler

Bleacher Report really putting in the work there. We'd love a lot of those trades, but what are they based on? Earth Wind and Fire could probably make a compelling argument.

Yea I'm sure they're just some guy throwing out ideas he thinks are fair for both teams and while some are a stretch, I wouldn't say they're all homer trades.

99.9% of trade rumors never come to fruition either way but I think they're fun to discuss.

The thing I hate about Bleacher Report is that they churn out this garbage faster than people can read it, but because as you say, it's fun to speculate on, people click on it, link to it. Then more people click on it, and link to it. And the unpaid or barely paid kid who wrote it likes it because people are paying attention, while bleacher report gets fake content basically for free, and rakes in the cash. This cash grab effectively squeezes out the more thoughtful sourced and substantiativd content over time, because they're getting the goods (page views, ad revenue) without actually providing anything worthwhile.

Effectively, every time you click on a bleacher report link, somewhere a person with something real and insightful to say is kicked in the nuts. It's just science.

This theory is equally applicable to good TV and reality TV.

Yea I guess I see where you're coming from. I always viewed as a way to kill a quick 10 mins, similiar to reading a crappy blog. I never really thought of the financial side of it. I think reality tv is a very good comparison and I'm sure my IQ drops slightly every time I click. Again, I never considered the financial side so I can see where the BleacherReport hate is coming from.

I know big trades are exciting but the truth is likely that DA will keep our vets, RR AB and JG.
So why I don't see some trade ideas to have a chance to be what will happen?
We know what DA wants (add elements to please KG and try to contend next year.  What the other teams want? Maybe that's how we should start?

I am thinking that "attitude" has to do with the fact that Kevin Love is playing for a horrendous team in Minnesota. I would LOVE to have Love (no pun intended)on the Celtics. Can you imagine him in green with KG and Pierce? One can only dream!

A 4 who can hit threes is pretty much my dream.

Josh McRoberts.

Just say no to Boozer!!!!

Interesting just b/c the Suns pick would be very high in next year's epic draft.

No, unless the Jazz swap Burks & Evans for their 2014 #1.
