The Heat are 37-4 (including the playoffs) since Birdman arrived.

Thanks Danny.

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
It's fun to think that his 5ppg, 4rpg, and 1bpg would have made an enormous difference, but we weren't going anywhere without Rondo. It was worthwhile keeping any potential distractions away from the team while checking out future prospects like Randolph and White...Also, would Birdman even have chosen to sign with us with Miami's interest?

I would have preferred Kenyon Martin anyway, and he was ready and available for us to sign...but again, no Rondo, no championship.

Maybe DA should have signed Lebron,Wade and Bosh as well. He should get fired for not pulling that trigger... ::)

Chris Anderson made the right decision..he makes a difference for Miami and is chasing a championship...he wouldn't have made a difference for a Rondoless Celtics

This is not about about a championship, I don't think we would have won it with Rondo either.

This is about filling the basic need of rebounding and an active defensive big. We let Martin and Birdman go without giving either a shot.

Just tired of watching Birdman (and KMart while he was in) play great for our conference rival knowing that rebounding was at the bottom of our priority list.

The Heat are 37-4 (including the playoffs) since Birdman arrived.

Thanks Danny.

They would have been 38-3 if they had gotten Shavlik Randolph instead.  Thanks, Danny.

Get over it...

My thoughts exactly.  Anyone who is the 4th or 5th option on the court with LJ, DW, and Bosh is going to get some easy open looks.  Just by running the court your are going to get opportunities because the defense is so focused on those guys.  If it wasn't birdman, it would have been someone else getting the garbage buckets for them.

His contribution to Miami does not = what his contribution to the C's would have been.  Two totally different teams.

He's still better than our big man options.  And we could have had him as a freebie.  Not bitter, but it's obvious the dude can contribute.  Let's get our heads out of the sand.

Anyways besides the lack of rebounding and size on the Celtics.  Our other problem is we don't have a legit PG to trot out there when a Rondo goes down.  How do we address these problems?

So disagreeing that Chris Anderson is the reason the Heat are so good is putting our heads in the sand?  smh.

4.9 ppg / 4 rpg at 14 min per game.  Yeah since he joined the heat that is obviously why they were so tough during their undefeated streak.
