Clips send: jordan, Butler, bledsoe, and Jamal Crawford
Get: KG Pierce and jordan crawford

Suns send : Gortat and this years # 4 pick
gets: DeAndre Jordon, Avery bradley and bostons #16

Boston sends: pierce, KG, bradley, and jordon crawford and #16 pick
gets: gortat, bledsoe, crawford, and butler plus suns #5

why?
clips get pierce and kg
suns still have 2 first round picks, and get 2 solid players for gortat

Celtics move on and get #5 pick
with the #5 take oladipo

rondo, bledsoe
crawford, Oladipo, Lee, terry
green,butler
sully, bass
gortat, Melo

then try trading a combo of bledsoe lee and/or terry for a backup C

idk suns may want more but this seems interesting to me....havent though too much about it tho, wingin it......feel free to shred me up  ;D

what's the point of getting Gortat when you've shipped out PP and KG?  only reason for getting a serviceable center is support PP/KG, not replace them.  not a good deal for the C's.

4 serviceable players, only 1 that's still to reach his prime and even then that player is stuck behind our best player,  and a draft pick in a weak draft?  not enough.

Youre kidding right?
You dont think Ainge would  be all over this in a heartbeat?
A top 10 center, Eric Bledsloe and the 4th pick is not enough for KG and Pierce on the way out? What are you expecting for them if thats not enough ?
Problem here is that Phoenix probably doesnt pick up the phone, although i dont think its asbad as others are making it to be.  Jordan +Bradley+ 16th pick isnt a bad haul for the 4th pick and the ghost of Gortat whos leaving anyway.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

i was rushed on this idea a bit before work lol but yea suns would need more.
altho giving up gortat and #5 to get DeAndre Jordan, bradley, and #16 isnt too far off i think.....maybe lol

and why on Gortat? b/c he is a decent big man.........if we trade pierce w/out KG retires and we are stuck with no big man....good luck recruiting a free agent here with the money we will have available. and id rather have gortat over jordan in my opinion(not a fan of jordan but others are)

conclusion...not one of my better trade ideas but id still take it!  ;D

Jordan a top 10 center? Here's the list of guys who are bigger impact players at that position. He's still young and has potential to become that guy (its happened late for plenty of bigs)

Noah
KG
Hibbert
Lopez
Howard
Gasol
Other Gasol
Bosh
Aldridge
Pekovic
Duncan
Jefferson
Horford
Monroe
Drummond
Asik
Chandler
Sanders
Nene

He's top 20 maybe? He might be even lower than that.

Yup. I would quote fafnir if my phone would let me.

Jordan reminds of a slightly more athletic Robin Lopez. Or perhaps even worse, the 76ers version of Samuel Dalembert.
*CB Miami Heat*
Kyle Lowry, Dwayne Wade, 13th pick in even numbered rounds, 18th pick in odd numbered rounds.

I think he was talking bout gortat but i agree with you here but let me break it down:
Noah-not leaving the bulls
KG-old and close to retiring
Hibbert- not leaving pacers
Lopez- movable
Howard- who knows
Gasol- staying in memphis
Other Gasol- older
Bosh- more of a PF but will be moved soon prly
Aldridge- PF, i wouldnt say center
Pekovic- movable
Duncan- old and retiring soon
Jefferson- movable
Horford- movable
Monroe- prly untouchable
Asik- movable
Chandler- older but serviceable
Sanders- movable
Nene- ehhhhhh ok and movable

red= no way
blue= retiring
green= could possibly be acquired by celtics
other clors are in betweeners

leaves around 7 in green. and gortat could fit into that group as well, so maybe top 10 we could realistically could acquire

Good to great deal for the Celtics.

People are right that the Suns would say no.  However, this draft does not bring as big a gap between 16 and 5 as most drafts, and if the right player dropped to 16 it's conceivable.  Say Shabazz or Shroeder (the Rondo they let get away before) is available at 16.

(However, if that happened the Celtics might then bow out.)

I'm a fan of Oladipo.  As a Celtic fan his availability at 5 would make me excited about the deal....would be a great wing companion to Jeff Green....and would combine nicely with both Rondo and Bledsoe.

I meant Gortat, not Jordan.
We get Gortat. That list is power forwards. Ii mean 7 foot centers who only play that position, ie Gortat with Nash. With Rondo he'd probably return to that top tier getting so many easy looks like Shaq did.

I got ya Chambers, i tried to explain that a little bit above, glad we were on same page there

but i still think the suns might say yes but would want a sweeter piece, idk what that may be...depends on the suns maybe jordan stays in LA and Griffin(and his stardom) go to suns???????????????????????????????
