I wonder will this make an impact on his status with the C's next year. Immaturity like this is why a lottery pick like him ended up in China before his rookie contract ended.

I expected Williams to be used as salary filler for a trade this offseason, and waived by whatever team traded for him.  I'd say this about guarantees that he will be waived by someone.

The only question left is will he be waived before his salary becomes slightly guaranteed on June 30th, or even before he gets a chance to be traded?

I would call that stupidity not immaturity.

Like I always do, I will give him the benefit of the doubt. Just because the woman claims he did it, doesn't mean he did. It may sound foolish but at least wait to hear what his response is.

Maybe this will force Danny to draft Dennis Schrouder  ;D

I was gonna make a joke , but the I read what he said about his childhood. Tough luck Terrance williams. Just goes to show you, if you got a temper, leave the guns at home. Also don't threaten women.

Hope its not true but if it his he now is just cap filler for the Cetlics. Sad because I thought he had a chance to make it as Rondo's backup.

Yep.  I don't know if this happened as alleged -- Lord knows I see enough false reporting of DV incidents -- but the above is good advice that I've given many people.  If you're somebody with an anger management problem and if you have a gun around, there's a strong possibility that something bad is going to happen.

well, crap....sigh. just when i thought the celtics might have picked up a solid backup for rondo, williams reverted to his "i'm a total knucklehead" mode.

this will not make or break the celtics, so i am not too worried on that point. he would have been a nice, very athletic backup pg with good defense...at best.

now, he is the sort of marginal player who may not be worth the risk due to off court behavior.

if this is true as stated then too bad for him, his family, and everyone else whose lifes he touches.

Does this really surprise anyone given the rumors and reports that this guy has had problems with past coaches amd/or GMs and/or locker room problems?

Well you figure anyone in his position would kill for it. After multiple teams, and years of being in and out... Now coming back to CBA, and joining a playoff team..

And yet he goes ahead and messes up his chances... I really hope T-Will apologizes to the community if this is factual. At least try to own up to it, tell them you have anger management issues, and resolve to fix it. I was hoping he would be the back up to Rondo we were looking for... Fast, quick, good handles, nice court vision, and has an nice arsenal of touch and chest passes...

If T-Will really does admit to his troubles and issues, I don't see DA not trying to at least keep him. I'm pretty sure any mistake he makes might be his last. But at least give him the benefit of the doubt until proven guilty. I don't like how everyone looks badly at someone cause of a history.

Maybe if all that happens then maybe he might get another chance here. Perhaps.

Or, as I see it, TWill became throw-in-non-guaranteed-contract-for-next-year-salary-relief trade fodder the moment Ainge caught wind of this.

True, if that wasn't TWill's status already.
