I mentioned this in another thread.

Denver could be a good destination for Pierce with Gallinari out with an injury, as others have mentioned

Celts receive - Javale McGee and Wilson Chandler
Denver receives - Paul Pierce, Avery Bradley and our 1st round pick in this year's draft.

We finally get a legit center along with a decent wing scorer in Chandler. Denver dumps a lot of salary, gets an experienced vet for one year along with a very good defensive 2 guard to play alongside Lawson.

Too much value for me. Not a fan of McGee or his contract. Even though the contracts won't match, I'd rather have Koufos.
*CB Miami Heat*
Kyle Lowry, Dwayne Wade, 13th pick in even numbered rounds, 18th pick in odd numbered rounds.

  • Eagerly Awaiting the Next Fantasy Draft
This deal makes us marginally better now but unless McGee develops a brain I'm not sure it makes us better long term. If we are going to deal Pierce I expect it to be in a move made for the future. Giving up Bradley and the 16th is not a move that helps our future.
