Quote
Greg Oden is attempting to return to the NBA after not playing since 2009.

Oden has received interest from the Cleveland Cavaliers and Miami Heat, amongst other teams.

Deshaun Thomas, who attended Ohio State like Oden, said on Thursday that the two have been working out.

"Man, he looks unbelievable," he said at the draft combine. "He's running. He's lifting weights. You might be seeing a comeback. He looks like he's ready to go. He's running, getting in shape. I'll tell you one thing. For a big 7-footer that's all he does, running and getting in shape. He's looking right."

Yeah for 25 minutes.....also this comparing athletes like Oden, Bynum, and Gronk to glass is really very insulting to glass. Glass clearly has SOME integrity. The vast majority of glass in my house hasn't broken in the last couple years.  If I were glass I'd be ticked

Yeah, Roy looked "ready to go" last year, too.

I'd be willing to see Danny take that chance.

Here we go with all the feel good stories about how Oden is back to 100%. I'll believe it when I see him on the court for a full season.

I agree that there's a good chance he never gets healthy enough to be an NBA contributor, but I think it's worth the risk for that small chance that maybe he recovers enough to be a starting NBA center again.

It depends how much someone will offer him.  Does anyone see anyone offering more than, say, 3 million per year?

Nowhere in those quotes is playing basketball mentioned.  He can run and he looks great?  Half the people at your local gym meet those criteria.

If he is back and he goes to the Heat, the NBA is broken.

Chalmers, Wade, LeBron, Bosh, and Oden...deadliest lineup in the league in today's society.

Ray Allen, Shane Battier, Chris Anderson, and Rashard Lewis off the bench? Wow.
