Hurray....

we gripe a lot ( I know I'm bad) , and I'm on Doc's case all the time,  but the Celtics could do A LOT WORSE I think.

That said....I think Doc is still learning and improving as coach .

Rather be in our shoes with Doc than the Lakers with MDA.

I just think DA and DOC are taking the wrong angle to beat the Heat.    Trying to play small with the Heat an't working, they simply have the best athlete on the planet.

DA and DOC had the right idea with Shaq, Perk, JO, and KG .... blast the Heat apart and crush em with big tuff front line.  No sissy , let s all be friends ball.

I'm glad he's back, now let's see what happens with KG and Pierce.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Oh really. Could they do a lot worse? Thats funny, cause I dont think its possible to do any better.

Maybe spare us of your opinions on Doc cause they are about as inaccurate as can possibly be.

Now that Doc is "officially" back, people should stop complaining about the Pierce ISOs, lack of inside scoring, and lack of rebounding.

well, there likely will be no Pierce at all, and hopefully we trade him for a rebounder

I hear Kris Humphries is available!

I made the mistake of listening to a Boston radio stream and listened to one of Mutt/Merloni argue that proposed trade was a good deal.

Kept saying "AND A FIRST ROUND PICK" like a low first rounder was gold like it is in the NFL....

That is the problem with sports talk. You have guys talking about sports other than the ones they have knowledge of. Merloni has no business speaking to anything but baseball just like Felger has no business talking about anything beside hockey.

To be honest I can't really think of any Boston radio hosts that are good basketball guys.

Ordway and Holly used to both be decent basketball guys.  Ordway better than Holly IMO.  but nobody on talk radio in boston has the amount of knowledge of the league as a whole as most posters on this blog

It is pretty bad, I once heard someone on the radio suggest that a player to be named later be added to a Celtics trade, as well the concept of trading up in the draft like you can in the NFL.

Danny Ainge confirms that Doc Rivers is returning next season as #celtics coach. "We've got a coach everybody would love to have."

Just to be clear, did Danny say Doc is returning or did he say we got a coach everybody would love to have? Those could be two very different things.

I am at a loss why anyone expected anything different. It's not like Ainge was going to fire him, and Doc committed way past the perceived KG run in 2011.
"I don't know half of you half as well as I should like; and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve."
