Can you also move Moncrief at PG please?
I think Moncrief can defend PGs, but I think you'll need to find a better distributor there.
Moncreif was a wing. he played more SFs than PGs. He could probably guard PGs, but he is no PG. He's a lot closer to be a SF than a PG.
I think Cooper is the PG out of the two of them. Or I should say lead guard in a two guard backcourt with a lot of shared responsibilities. Steady stable decision maker. Good ball-handler. Did well initiating the Lakers offense when asked to do so. Adequate setup guard.
Let Moncrief stay at off-guard and be more aggressive looking to attack offensively when he touches the ball. Cooper in the low usage position just asked to setup and initiate the offense role but not really create anything.
That said, I would be more inclined to move Cooper to SF or a bench role than start him at PG.
