You'd think a Celtics blog would appreciate the underdog.

I really like your team and have you at #3 the thing is your team is not the best offensive or defensive team but a really well rounded team

Oh I understand your opinions. I just have to play this card. Its my whole coaching technique, well that and blaming the refs.

I am placing players at the positions they most often played in their careers unless otherwise told. Also, the first player listed will assumed to be the starter at that position so if you want a player listed as a starter or bench player, please let me know. Lastly, I will not be listing players at multiple positions, you can do that on your own in your sigs or in presenting the team.

So if the roster doesn't match the way you are configuring your team, simply let me know here in this thread like others have already done.

Glad to see all of the love for my Sixers team.  I thought I was really doing well, but there was almost no comments in the draft thread.  I really like my front line with Lanier, Haywood, and Erving.  Hopefully at least one of the guards I am pegging for today gets to me.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

Rosters updated. I think I have every player where people will be playing them but let me know.

Interesting note through 4: 7/12 teams left choosing a SG for their 5th pick.

It's also possibly the deepest position left.  I'm surprised a couple of SGs haven't gone yet.

Yeah there's at least 2 maybe 3 I thought would have been gone by now, mostly over a couple/three of the PGs taken.

I'll follow this format

Best defensive team: 76ers/Lakers
Best offensive team: Kings
Team I'd most like to watch: Bullets (followed closely by a whole bunch of others).  I do love me some Walter Davis though.

Undecided on best overall team.  Magic could use a defender on the Kings, but oh lordy I see a lot of dunks on the break for Nance.  Interested to see where the all quiet guy team goes in LA!  Interesting mix of personalities there.
Yup

Give me the Knicks.  Larry Bird, Chocolate Thunder, and Fat.

Team getting no mention is Boston who I think has a really good team. I know most are not familiar with Moore but he was a heck of a PG playing in San Antonio when they sucked and were never on TV. For about 4-5 years there, he was what Rondo has been the last few years.

Then add in Nique, McHale and Eaton. That's one solid team with a superbly dominant defensive presence inside.

Can't go wrong there either ( though I'd have to insist on non-breakaway rims).
Yup
