Ainge should have traded Pierce and Ray Allen in 2010 to give Tony Allen a starting gig.

"Being in Boston I was kind of overshadowed by those guys, Paul Pierce and Ray Allen," Allen said. "Here's a ballclub who's on the rise and a lot of guys can make names for themselves. It's a coming out party for a lot of guys on this team."
it is true...pp has been overplayed with no help....esp after ray left....he should have went to a reduced, easier role..a specialist instead of primary scorer and defender.....too much.....!
I was being facetious. Trading two future Hall of Famers, on a team with championship aspirations, to give a defensive specialist more playing time is not a rational thing to do.
I applaud Tony's continued success, and I'm rooting for the Grizz. But sometimes, people have to move on to grow and succeed.
