Cody Zeller may have tested himself off of this list his measurements came back better than expected 6'10 wingspan 8'10 standing reach both OK for PF but his 35.5" standing vertical is amazing for a player his size best ever tested at combine for player of his size. Really is showing that he physically can be a good PF now just needs to show the range / perimeter skills to go with it.

Yep. I'm pretty high in Zeller so I was happy to hear his measurements. Also had the best sprint time of any big in the draft

Shabazz. It's not worth having a selfish ego like his on the team.

Few times, if ever at all, has an average athlete dominated the NBA without having some of that competitive fire and that "first in the gym, last to leave" mentality.

We'll get scoring, all right, but the intangibles is more important. We are a smart franchise and we know what it takes to win - ubuntu. The championship team isn't the best combination of individual talents - it's the best system of talents working as one. You can have the best tires in the world, but if they don't fit the car, you can't ride to victory.

Shabbazz intangibles is far better than a lot of his fellow draftees.

His killer instincts and competitiveness alone is way ahead of the others. He's been scouted as a hard worker on the practice gym. Plays hard. Rebounds his misses (not a lot of players do that).

Sure he has problems with selfishness and sometimes losing focus, but those are fixable. He can score in an NBA level, he plays to win and his physical attributes is NBA ready, why should Danny avoid that? Especially if he falls for us at 16.

Going back on topic, I'd personally would not draft another 2 guard unless it's Shabbazz. I think everyone has their flaws and their upside but another 2 guard is the last thing we need (except Shabazz, these kind of players come once in a few years).

If zeller falls to 16, Danny won't let him pass. It will be the Sully gift part 2.

Zeller played C in college but easily can play pf in the nba. He has enough quickness and his short wingspan of 6'9 won't matter when your 6'11 tall.

Players i would want DA to avoid

MCW - Will fall. Lack of jump shot, turnover prone not a true pg nor true sg.  Maybe be a valuable role player one day but at 16 and with the celts state you need to try to get a guy who can make a more immediate impact

Muhammad - Selfish player. Carmelo Anthoney part two

Still not very high on him but I was surprised to read that MCW has a 41" vertical! So much for me questioning his athleticism.

no. I should of clarified. No way Muhammad will be as dominant as Melo in the nba, but will portray more of his ugly qualities. He will try to it himself for often than not, try to get out of funks by overshooting and won't make the easy pass vs difficult scoring try.

no thanks

He can jump and is decently athletic. But doesn't have the quickness to stand out in the nba.
