BOS/LAC/SAC deal

1) Trade Garnett to the Clippers for Eric Bledsoe, Caron Butler and the Clippers 2014 first rounder.
2) Trade Bledsoe, Green, Bradley, Melo, Celtics 2013 first rounder and Clippers 2014 first rounder to the Kings for Cousins and Evans

Leaves us with a starting 5 of:

C: Cousins
PF: Sully
SF: Butler
SG: Evans
PG: Rondo

I assume if we move KG we move Pierce for assets as well, so I put Butler at SF.

The Clippers are happy to throw in a first to land KG after a first round exit, especially if they get to keep Deandre Jordan.

The Kings do the deal because they get their PG and SF of the future in Bledsoe and Green. The fill out their SG rotation by pairing Bradley with Thornton. They pick up a project in Melo, a mid round 2013 first and another 2014 late first.

Even with their 2013 lotto pick, that Kings team is probably still in the lottery, which gives them a chance at picking up a potential LeBron or KD type talent in Wiggins or Parker. I think they'd rather collect a ton of young assets on good contracts (Bledsoe and Bradley have to be resigned, but you can reassess after next season) rather than committing something like 25-30 million on two guys that they're unsure of as their future.

The Celtics get their building block big man in Cousins who can be a 20/10 guy if he improves his shot selection and matures (at 22 there is tons of potential there). Evans  can shoot (not the best from 3) and create his own offense, which is something we will need post PP. He is a bit ball dominant in Sacramento, but I think he can play off the ball and then handle the offense for the few minutes Rondo sits a game.

I'd like to keep our 2013 first, but I think they will demand it or Sully to put the deal over the top.

Add in whatever we can get in a Pierce deal and thats a solid team to jump-start the rebuilding.

I'm not a huge fan of that lineup but if we are able to get something solid for Pierce I guess I would be fine with those deals.

I feel like the package that you proposed for Cousins, might be too rich for my blood but then again Cousins if kept properly leashed could be a franchise caliber center.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

In my mind you don't build a team around Cousins.  If you can get him cheap fine, but that's all.  Too much of a headcase and you'd be getting rid of KG who is the only guy to mentor him...

They still work for next season, assuming Evans resigns for something around 10m a year.

Obviously there is a huge hole at SF but that is just because I didn't include Paul Pierce. If we moved Pierce in another deal for a SF (Josh Smith?) or for a high pick to draft our future SF its a pretty solid lineup.

Like I said I don't want to include our 2013 first, but I think that SAC would demand it or Sully and I'd rather keep Sully. Ideally I'd like to try and get another first out of LAC since they are keeping Jordan or alternatively move one of Lee/Terry/Crawford in exchange for an asset that we could then flip to SAC instead of our first to get the deal done.

I think a lineup consisting of Cousins, Evans and Rondo plus whoever we get for Pierce could make some waves moving forward. You've got a serious low post presence in Cousins, a floor general all-star playoff vet in Rondo and a shooter in Evans.

Evans isn't a shooter

Things i do not like with these trades. Don't like Evans and Rondo playing together. Don't like Cousins and Sully playing together because of defense issues. Don't like Bulter just because. Would rather hold on to Green and see what we could get else where with chips like.

Lee,Terry,Bass,AB,Crawford,16th pick.

If we received Jordan instead of Butler and traded him instead of Green I'd prefer it.  Don't think I'd like it, since I only want Cousins on a team with KG teaching him how to grow up, which this trade doesn't have, but I admire your creativity.
