Not saying I would but curious on some responses. LA gets a SG to plug next to Chris Paul (assuming he returns) and Boston gets a PG with seemingly increasing value around the league. All I'll say is I would not hang up the phone on this one..

Maybe?

What's the desired goal? Are you then going to trade Rondo? Or are you hoping Bledsoe's trade value increases so he can be moved for another player?

In a vacuum, I probably wouldn't, because I am more comfortable with the idea of a Rondo-Bradley backcourt than a Rondo-Bledsoe one.

I think the Clippers say no.  For the Celtics though, I'd also say no.  Despite being very different players, I think there value/potential is roughly even, maybe a slight nod to Bledsoe.  So the determining factors would be fit, which gives the nod to Bradley.

in a vacuum i would do it because Bledsoe can run a team and is also a tenacious defender. but since we have Rondo, then Bradley seems more valuable for us.

Yea that's a fair point Lucky. I think it may open the door for more options. Maybe let Bledsoe start at the PG until the all star break then once Rondo comes back you shop Bledsoe hard. Obviously this is getting way ahead but just an idea

As the team is currently constituted I would not, but if we were to move Rondo, I would trade Bledsoe for Bradley.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Yes.  Bledsoe is better than Bradley and for a team that is rebuilding it is better to have better players rather than better fits.
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Starters - Luka, JB, Lebron, Wemby, Shaq
Rotation - Noah,
Deep Bench -

I wouldn't.

I'm more confident in Avery's ability to play a position. This year crushed his reputation, but I thought Avery showed himself to be the prototype for a good complimentary 2 guard.

Brilliant slasher, and I think he's an efficient catch and shoot shooter. With an average ball handler, he can be a really good offensive threat.

My concern w/ Bledsoe is that he'll never develop into a reliable point guard. He'll always be a hound you unleash to create havoc. But he's too eratic on offense, and doesnt have a good enough shot where Id feel confident giving him the keys.

Maybe just based on Bledsoes perceived value.

Otherwise could really care less. They are both pretty un exciting prospects at the moment

Ideally I would like to see Bledsoe brought here without moving Bradley. Can you picture them "unleashing the hounds" and creating havoc together? Opposing point guards would have nervous break downs.

I want to see Rondo and Bradley playing together again before I make my call on this.
