I don't think everyone will be nearly as open to it as you might think. The guy couldn't play more than 5 games after taking a whole year off. He's donezo.

Thus ends the saga of Minnesota signing a guy just for media buzz and to screw Portland out of insurance money.

A shame. Hope Brandon Roy can focus on his post-NBA life now.

We already have handful of injured guys in our roster. Let him have at least 1 full healthy season and I might change my mind.

We can't get young guys through full seasons, we barely eek out a season with any guys that are healthy. No one should want him with the way Celtics luck is with injuries.

Too bad he is made of glass, this guy was unreal when he was healthy.

All the best to Brandon Roy, maybe he should get into coaching or be an analyst or something.

Agreed. He was a great talent to watch, and just a sad reminder of what could have been for the Blazers in the last few years--A healthy Oden/Roy/Aldridge core can hang with the Lakers and Thunder, no question.

Better unfulfilled legacy: Grant Hill, T-Mac, or Brandon Roy?

Hill.

He and Roy just disappeared suddenly, and I think Hill was a bigger talent. T-Mac hurt his back and had a slow decline from his original MVP caliber play.
