I'd like Stan Van. Think Collins is overrated as an X's and O's guy, but he certainly seems to bond well with young players.

I see SVG seems to be a popular choice.  Personally, I can't stand the guy.  He might be a good "X's & O's" coach, but, as Shaq once said, "he's the master of panic".  SVG just doesn't seem to be a good manager of personalities either.

I've always liked JVG, but I doubt he is interested in coaching anymore.  Seems like he really likes his cushy gig at ABC/ESPN.

Honestly, it would depend on the direction the team was going in.  For a rebuild, I'd be fine with young, up-and-coming coach.  If we we're trying to be a contender, I'd prefer a more veteran coach with experience.

I'm pretty sure JVG would love to coach again, but, like all those well-respected coaches waiting in the wings, he more or less has the pick of the litter when it comes to getting the situation that he wants.
