not enough.  Love is an all-star.  I love Green, but he'll never make an allstar team.   Bradley and Sully don't have much value.

We would need to throw in someone else to match salaries (I believe) and there is no way Minnesota would give us the number nine pick in this deal. I think AB, Green, Sully, Lee, the 16th pick and our pick in 2015 could get it done.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Even if we left the picks out? I'm trying to think of recent allstars who have been traded... I think that's a pretty decent haul for a player who will likely leave at the end of his contract.

Boston then flips Garnett to LA for the Bledsoe/Jordan deal

Rondo/Bledsoe
Lee/Bledsoe/Terry
Pierce/Muhammed
Love/Bass
Jordan/Dalembert

Woowee am I bored lol

after this trade, you'd be able to call the TWolves the Boston Celtics farm system.

Orlando is already the Lakers

It is a horrible trade for Minnesota.  No way they do it and no way they can't get a lot more for Love.
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Rotation - D. Daniels, Mitchell, G. Wallace, Melo, Noah

Too much time left on K-Love's contract for Minnesota to sell for fifty cents on the dollar.

Need to wait another 12 months.

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
I really don't see this as a horrible trade for Minny - while it might not totally match up, we are giving up our three biggest assets [one of whom is on an extreme upward swing] for a very good player, but isn't in the upper echelon. I don't know, maybe I just don't 'love' Kevin as much as others around here do.

Maybe if their GM, who has some weird vendetta against Love, wasn't fired last week this trade would've had a chance at going through. KAAAAHHHHHN.

Kevin Love isn't a young KG. Yes, he's a very good offensive player who also gets a lot of boards...but he isn't very good on defense. I'm not saying he's not a major prize...but teams shouldn't trade the farm to get him (unlike our trade to get KG).

Kevin Love shouldn't ever be mentioned in the same sentence as.

Kevin Garnett... not even close. KG can be considered the greatest PF of all time.

No he can't. Not even the best of his era

Between Dirk/KG/Duncan, I don't see anyone not better than KG out of the 3.

Arguably Dirk is better at shooting, KG is the best PF defensive anchor you can find, and Duncan is a posting up monster.

I'd take all 3!

Yea count me in as somebody who doesn't think it's bad value for Minnesota. While I like Kevin Love I don't think he is a bonafide superstar. He's made 1 all-star game I believe? I view him as kind of a rich mans Ryan Anderson.

Minnesota gets an athletic wing who is just entering his prime years and who has the possibility to be an all-star in the right setting on what's looking like a reasonable contract. They get two young talented players on their rookie deals who are 20 and 22 and have already proven they can be impact players at this level. Minnesota moves foward with a core of Rubio, Green, and Pek.

Starting line up looking like:

Rubio (21)
Bradley (22)
Green (26)
Sullinger (20)
Pekovic (27)

Sixth man: Williams (20)

Not too shabby
