If we can only attract FAs because of one man and not because of the storied history of the team and the city, then we might as well pack it up because DOC is not going to be here forever.

I don't think there's any evidence we will be able to attract top FAs with or without Doc.

I think Rondo has been the reason for Free Agents coming to Boston at least for the past couple of years.
