I would only think of doing this if Danny is fully healthy!!  We would get a back up PG as well.

Thoughts?

Or we could trade PP and Bass for Hansbrough (Tyler), Granger and Augustin.

Thoughts??

I'm definitely staying away from Granger. Not trading Pierce for a regressing player with injury history.

Staying away from Granger, degenerative knees like his are too risky.

Regressing??

The ONLY reason his scoring went down in 2011-2012 is because he took OVER 300 LESS shots as he did the year before!!

I would make sure he is medically cleared first.

BTW, he expires at the end of next year!!!  (Granger that is!!)

He's got a degenerative knee issue similar to Brandon Roy's and Andrew Bynum's.

Those knees aren't getting cleared, instead you just have to either accept the risk or not with him.

I like DJ but if Indiana is trading Granger, they are looking for a guard or a PF
*CB Miami Heat*
Kyle Lowry, Dwayne Wade, 13th pick in even numbered rounds, 18th pick in odd numbered rounds.

yea, Granger is just about done, I would rather let Pierce walk than take on Granger's contract.

This isn't going to happen folks.  Granger is cooked.

Why would they be looking for a PF when they have David West?

Granger is made of glass.

Too many injuries.

Granger's knees are a scary prospect, so I wouldn't be willing to give up Pierce (I think we can get a better return elsewhere). The most I'd be willing to give up would probably be Bradley and Bass for Granger straight up.

The Pacers need a SG. Stephenson is serviceable, but Bradley could definitely challenge him for the starting spot or would be a great change of pace rotation player. And Bass is insurance in case they lose one or both of Hansborough and West.

Granger is a classic boom or bust, he could either return to form and be an all-star or never see the court due to injury.

He's a free agent after this year.

I was behind this trade until I just read about his knee condition, now the only way I trade for him is if I know he is retiring.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Not terrible my twist on it would be

Pierce, terry, #16
For
Granger, Mahinmi, DJ, #23,#53 ( dj would have to sign n trade 2yr 3mill)

Dj is the pg while rondo is out Mahinmi ( fell out of playoff rotation) steps into starting minutes, granger is expiring and if healthy enough might be intriguing to a contender at trade deadline. The drop in pick should t be a huge talent drop and the second is a bonus

Indy gains vets to step up come playoff time, pierce take the role as 6th man, at 16 they draft Whitney or dieng to fill in bottom of big man rotation

I want no part of Tyler Hansborough,
At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.
