He is the assistant GM and was credited with finding Rondo. Now our Front Office talent is leaving. Not a good sign. It is shocking we let him go before the draft. I think we are going to be in trouble.

this is the second assistant gm to leave the celtics. it happens, just as theo's crew left the sox one by one.

when you hire young, good talent eventually they need to leave the organization to find promotions since too few exist within. i wish him good luck. he earned the chance to lead a team by helping the celtics for years.

a loss? yes. but i believe ainge will find someone else who can help the celtics.

besides, a number of folks (well, at least me) think this may be the guy who eventually becomes GM after ainge.
