Idea: Pierce to ATL for (S/T) Zaza and Korver?

Would you trade Pierce for Zaza Pachulia and Kyle Korver?

No.

But, if KG stays (and Pierce does too), Zaza is precisely the kind of FA big man I'd like to acquire for the Last Dance. Grit, rebounding, and a solid 20+ minutes a night.

Zaza?   Horford, is the player I too, would covet.  Perhaps Smith but he is a knucklehead.  But Zaza and Horford, yuck!

Lee is owed ~$5.5mil/year for the next 3 years and Terry ~$5mil/year for next 2 years. I don't see why they would ever want to take on those two contracts when they can just let both of those guys (Zaza/Korver) go to maximize their cap space in order to sign Dwight and/or Chris Paul.
