Boston sends: Brandon Bass, Courtney Lee, 16th overall pick

Boston gets: Omar Asik, future protected 1st from Houston

Houston sends: Omar Asik, future 1st

Houston gets: Pau Gasol

LAL sends: Pau Gasol

LAL gets: Brandon Bass, Courtney Lee, 16th overall pick, future 2nd

Celtics sign Dalembert and now we have 2 capable centers and bangers. Yay!
*CB Miami Heat*
Kyle Lowry, Dwayne Wade, 13th pick in even numbered rounds, 18th pick in odd numbered rounds.

Don't know that Dwight is going to recreate his old magic team in LA. Being the lakers they are going to want more bang for their buck out of trading Gasol.

Houston will have to kick in more than Asik and a protected first for Pau.  Not sure LA would take the C's flotsam for Pau either but his value is down and this would give them depth.  not a real fan of helping LA in any manner.

Haha. Thats hilarious. An undersized PF, a guy that couldnt crack a rotation on the number 7 seed in the East and a mid round pick in a weak draft for Gasol? And we get Asik and a first?

Keep dreamin.

No reason at all for Boston to be in this trade.
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Starters - Luka, JB, Lebron, Wemby, Shaq
Rotation - D. Daniels, Mitchell, G. Wallace, Melo, Noah
Deep Bench - Korver, Turner

  • A true Celtic plays with heart.
Lakers could use Courtney Lee, but why would they want a undersized PF?

I understand Bass has definitely increased his value by his playoffs experience, and play. But come on. A undersized PF, who is only good on individual iso, and can make a mid range jumper?

If we could do it, and bring back PP/KG, I'd do it in a heart beat. That way we could have a big who can confidently rebound, play defense, and isn't so much of a hindrance on the offensive end.

there's a way, there's a way to trade bass...add fillers and picks..trade is done...
but its a 3 team deal

Too bad this would never happen... This is just too unrealistic..

No reason at all for Boston to be in this trade.
Asik is an excellent center, that is reason enough.

I think Asik might end up being a trade chip if Houston is able to convince Dwight to play for them.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Assuming that the Celtics want to win now, I would prefer Gasol to Asik.

Yea the trade is likely no happening, I get that. I'm just so desperate for a starting center I'm getting delusional
