I'm starting to see guys like Alex len and Shabbazz Mohammed that were once thought to be top 3 picks falling down toward the bottom half of the top 10. I say do what you can and get a falling star in the top ten. Move the 16th, a 2014 second rounder, cash, and Jamal Crawford for a higher pick.

I think getting Shabbazz, Len or Carter Williams with the 9th or 10th pick could be a steal in this draft

Yeah, I'm hoping that Len's injury pushes him down to us.

Gettin Alex Len at #10 is definitely a steal. I don't think he'll fall off that far though. Shabazz's red flags are dropping him fast, but I think his workouts will put him at around 7-12 range, that's reachable.

I think Carter-Williams will be a top 5 pick after the work outs. He's just too skilled.

Shabazz is no where near the athlete that Wiggins is.  He is also 20.  At best you are looking at OJ Mayo.

True but he's reachable compare to Wiggins who's clearly #1 overall barring any setbacks.

It'll be harder to get Wiggins than move up and grab an athletic OJ Mayo. Still has upside that is sky high.

I don't understand the OJ Mayo - Shabazz Muhammad comparisons. OJ is an athletic scoring 2/1 Shabazz a bullish scoring 3/2.

Shabazz reminds me of Caron Butler, they are the same size and put up similar college numbers.

I posted a while ago how I hope he falls and the Cs can move up to get him but Avery would be to steep a price. The celtics to to add young assets not try to consolidate them yet.

Draft Saric, tell his agent to sign the kid to a good Euroleague team and play there at least for a season. This kid is going to be a fantastic player, but he's very young and has little pro experience. When you put him at the 4 with Jeff at the 3, they will open the court for Sully to play the 5 in a (big)small ball lineup. He's 6'10 but he can handle the ball like a guard, and he's from Drazen Petrovic's hometown, so you guess he can shoot.

Then, buy a late second to get Kenny Kadji, who is 25 and could contribute from the get go. Is tall, can shoot and even if his upside is low, he could be a great complement to Sully and Melo until we get a star big man.

Perfect scenario for a 2014 top 5 or top 10 pick.

Dario Saric, from everything I have read, is a really skinny, ball handling, power forward sized, SF that is a bad rebounder.

Green and Saric at the PF and SF position would mean we could possibly be the absolute worst rebounding team in the history of the game unless we have a center that averages 20 rebounds a game.

I would dread that combo on the court.

Worse than we are now?   That is hard to believe.

Since when does a second round pick move you up 6 spots in the NBA?

Trading up into the lottery generally requires more, something like future first roung picks or players who aren't veteran's minimum level gunners.

If we had Jamal Crawford, I surely wouldn't move him for a pick.

Since you mean Jordan Crawford -- Washington practically paid us to take him off their hands, and I don't really see him doing much to improve his stock in the meanwhile. No-one is giving you a lottery pick for him.
