He's the guy who would put us over the top. The young big man who can play. I'd give a lot for him... he's the perfect guy for our team

I don't think it would take anything crazy. Unfortunately, they are all set at guard so not sure we could offer a guard

I don't think we could interest them in a trade straight up for Jason Thompson, but I could see him as a piece in a larger trade if the Celtics go back after Demarcus Cousins or Tyreke Evans, both of whom were trade targets of the Celtics during this season. Danny could ask to swap Thompson and Bass as part of the deal.

I really like Thompson. I think his inside presence is exactly what the C's need on offense and defense (still a work in progress though).

The Kings just resigned JT to a 5 year/$30 mil deal this past offseason. So I don't know whether he'd be available. Then again, they did just trade for Patrick Patterson, too.

Yea, that was my line of thinking. They seemed to really like Patterson, giving up TRob for him
