If the Griz want to keep him and develop him, they need to play him.  Me thinks that Davis is in Hollins' dog house.

He was playing 15mpg during the regular season.  The minutes he lost in the playoffs seem to have gone mainly to Marc Gasol and Tayshaun Prince.

Are we talking about the same Ed Davis? The kid from UNC, skinny, about 24 years old, no outside game, very little post game, okay defender and decent rebounder, has done very little to distinguish himself in the league. We have to give up a valuable mid first rounder and a fringe starting SG role player to get Ed Davis?

Are we really talking about the same guy?

Lee straight up for Davis to me would seem more than fair given what each player brings to the table.

Ed Davis seems to be developing a decent mid-range jumper.  He hits a 10-16-foot shot at a higher percentage than Glen Davis.
