Too high a price. Jeff Green straight up I would probably do.

I think that is a fair deal for both sides. Green for Gortat.

I think talent wise that's even and would work but like somebody said, they have no real use for Green with their roster

Kyle Lowry, Dwayne Wade, 13th pick in even numbered rounds, 18th pick in odd numbered rounds.

That would leave the suns with 3 "sorta kinda maybe" good SF's though, Dudley, Green and Beasley.

Green and AB for Gortat and Beasley?

I think they'd want to get rid of B-Easy.

They seemed to want to get rid of Beasley as soon as he showed up there.

He is subtraction by addition at this point for any team that trades for him.

I would love Green for Gortat.

Wayyyyyy too much to give up.  You build around players like Jeff Green not trade them for another building block.  Now if you could get him somehow for Bradley, Lee and a first, now you're talking...

Yea I suppose they could always dump Beas to a team like Portland for a 2nd round pick

At most I'd consider Green for Gortat but would rather move some of the other guard pieces for Gortat.

Not that I'm necessarily advocating for it, but you could trade Bass Crawford and Terry for Beasley and Gortat:
http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=d32owqr

Which would leave you with some lineup of:
Rondo/Williams
AB/Lee
Green/Pierce/Beasley
Sully/Green/Beasley/KG
Gortat/KG/Melo

I think KG, Pierce, and Doc should they stay on, could help Beasley get his stuff together--he seems like he's got a bit of Young Paul Pierce/Ricky Davis going on.

If we keep Pierce and KG, we obviously need a big man.  This just seems like too high of a price, though.

I'd trade Green for Gortat straight up, or would package Sully and the #16, plus one of our filler contracts.

I want Kendall Marshall included in any deal with the Suns.

That price is way to high i think. Jeff Green proved his value to this team in the 2nd half of the regular season and playoffs. Avery really didn't take the step everyone thought he would but was thrust into a spot that he didn't think he would have to do. I would still think he has value though because when healthy he plays great D. But the 16th pick too? That's a lot, for a guy that would put us is a worse spot then we are already in with no youth at the SF spot and rely on Crawford, Lee, and Twill as our SG's

If this opened up cap for us thats one thing but it doesn't so no thanks. If we do trade Jeff Green and Avery with the 16th pick then throw in more and try and get a superstar from a team thats desperate.

Horrifyingly bad trade IMO.

I'd much rather have Jeff, Avery & Dieng/Withy/Roberson than aging Gortat & ineffective Shannon Brown.

Way too much value.  I would offer Phoenix's choice of Bass or Lee (assume they wouldn't want Terry), along with Bradley and this year's first for Gortat.  And even that is probably overpaying.

While I am not completely sold on Green, I think he has a lot of value, both for this team going forward, or as a trade asset.

That would leave the suns with 3 "sorta kinda maybe" good SF's though, Dudley, Green and Beasley.

Beasley should play the PF slot. Beasley is better there than as a SF. Dudley is best used as a backup SF. His lack of athleticism is easier to mask. Scola is best used as a backup PF due to age and decline. Jeff Green is best used as a starting SF.

SF - Jeff Green, Jared Dudley, Marcus Morris
PF - Michael Beasley, Luis Scola, Markieff Morris

I don't think Beasley has a future in Phoenix anyways but I think it works even if they choose to keep all of their guys. Guys in proper roles except for Marcus Morris who's playing time would be eliminated.

In addition to moving Beasley which I expect Phoenix to do, I think Phoenix should also trade Jared Dudley and Luis Scola. Neither has much value to a rebuilding team. I'd love to see Dudley work his way to a title contender. He is a very good glue guy. Just about perfect coming off the bench.

A guy like Jeff Green and to a lesser degree Marcus Morris are good guys to have their long term. Both could spend the next 5-8 years there, have room to grow and could be quality contributors. Those should be the forwards Phoenix looks to keep for the long haul.

I'd move Markieff Morris too. He has been a disappointment.

if you want gren

add scola

I doubt that would be a deal breaker. Given how badly Phoenix played last year -- 25 wins -- I imagine they are going to be shopping Scola pretty hard this summer.

I don't see anyone giving up a first round pick for Scola given his age and downturn in performance. Probably only get a 2nd rounder and some slight cap relief (maybe a trade exception for the $2.5 to $3.0 million he is being paid).

Not part of their future + minimal trade value.

So if Phoenix wanted Jeff Green and were willing to part with Gortat for him, I doubt they'd put up much of a fight if Ainge insisted Scola was included in the deal too.

I would seriously consider this deal and adding in our 16th pick for a future first OR two future second rounders.

http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=c52zdfu

Gortat, Beasley, future first

Bass, Bradley, Sully, number 16.

Rondo/Crawford
Lee/Terry
Pierce/Green/Beasley
KG/Green/Beasley
Gortat

Maybe giving up too much but I think thats a starting place deal for the Suns, I bet we could barter or find a third team.

That's way too much to give up.  The fact we're taking their prime headache off their hands is a big deal and should not cost us Sully & AB & our #1 pick.

I want no part of Beasley.  For Gortat: Bass and pick or Bass and Melo or Bass/Melo/Pick at most.
