do you guys really think that's a winning team?
contender? pretender?
rondo bradley smith sully melo etc etc;
with bass terry shavlik etc;

we gonna suck next year if 2 players are gone

sully coming from back surgery

kg our defensive anchor who can give 15+rebounds a game
and pierce who can score are both gone
al jeff and smith celtics future stars?
they will change what kg and pierce did?

do you guys expect green to score 30+ a game?
melo to d-league?

i know everyone wants to rebuild but, is there a good free agents out there? good draftees sure nba ready?
kg and pierce retiring our salary deduction will not change
with our 3 million mle left, we can only sign a 3 million budget player center

i call this rebuilding trade every except kg rondo pierce even terry, for experienced

Pierce has made it clear he's not retiring, though he may well play elsewhere.

But does Danny have a bunny in his chapeau for '13-'14?  That's the real question.

A starting lineup of Rondo, Bradley, Green, Bass, and Sully with Terry as our sixth man could easily make the playoffs in the weak East. Most likely a first round exit but that isnt all that bad.

Our current roster, minus KG and PP, would win between 25-30 games.

No, I don't think we'd win 40 games without KG and Pierce.  A core of Rondo + Green just isn't good enough, and we wouldn't have enough cap space for a max free agent unless we gutted the team of role players, as well.
