A while ago, I posted this thread.  Based on discussion in this thread, I think another poll is warranted.

So, who is a better coach, Doc Rivers or George Karl?

In my opinion, George Karl is slightly better than Doc.  I feel that Karl is one of the best coaches in the game, while Doc is a notch below that tier but still very good.

George Karl, he who has made it past the first round just once in eleven seasons.
Doc Rivers, he who has made it to the conference finals three times in six seasons.

Is this a joke?

Do you have the capability to run the identical poll on the Nuggets/Sixers blogs?

That would be very revealing, to me. I am quite sure that when it comes to players, there's lots of home team bias - for example, I bet many more Sixers fans would view Holiday as superior to Rondo than would Celtics fans.

With coaches? I'm not so sure. I wouldn't be at all surprised, for example to see that most Sixers fans think that Doc is the far superior coach - and that he's more positively viewed by them than by Sixer fans.

It would be a neat comparison, no matter how it turned out.

For all the flack we give Doc, he's pretty highly regarded around the league, and among other fan bases.

I'd have to join the SB Nation blog dedicated to doing so, which I am not interested in doing.  Anyone who wants to should feel free to copy this poll and run it elsewhere.

Doc is the best I have ever seen at coaching a team coming from behind.  Other than that he is an average coach.   Karl has had a good year but other than that he has been average.   The answer is Red.
