Nate Robinson didn't fit in here last time.
What is different? Same player, same coach, same system, same role he'd be asked to fill.
Nothing has changed.
think same coach, same system is right
if you did bring nate back, you'd obviously want him to play a role similar to that of the bulls.
but i do think he'll get big bucks this summer. so no, we can't bring him back.
The role he plays for the Bulls doesn't exist on this team. Being a mediocre to poor defending, ball hogging, non-passing, shoot first, inefficient shooter that doesn't care how bad the shot he is taking is is not a role Doc has ever allowed to exist on this team.
And for that, I applaud Doc.
Great.
I guess that role has no place in the NBA...seeing as how, ykno, we're out of the playoffs and Nate gets to play in the 2nd round.
Jesus, Doc is so smart. And OBVIOUSLY, Thibs has 0 control over Nate.
Dont know why I didnt think of that.
Chicago is going on because they have a much better team than the Celtics. And Thibs does have zero control over Robinson. Have you seen the shots that idiot is taking? You think an NBA coach WANTS players to take those shots?
Robinson isn't on that team next year and the only reason he was this year is because Chicago was desperate with Rose out. He is still the same mediocre to poor defending, ball hogging, non-passing, shoot first, inefficient shooter that doesn't care how bad the shot he is taking is player and every GM in the league knows it and, my guess is, there aren't a whole lot of coaches that want to coach him.
One game with 4-7 miraculous shots does not make you a viable option as a player. It makes you lucky and stupid to have taken the shots in the first place. High school and college coaches hate stupid players. What do you think professional coaches feel about stupid players?
BTW, that role has never won a title. Team play does.
